Reactine Extra Strength Antihistamine Tablets offer fast, long-lasting relief from indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms. Each dose contains 10 milligrams of cetirizine hydrochloride for allergy relief that provides fast relief and lasts 24 hours. Fast, 24 hour relief of sneezing; stuffiness; itchy, watery eyes; hives; runny nose; itchy nose and throat; and allergic skin itch.
Directions: Adults and children 12 years of age and over should take one tablet every 24 hours, anytime of day. Adults 65 years of age and over should use Regular Strength Reactine 5 mg Tablets or consult a doctor. This package contains 3 tablets.
Caution: Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
When using this product drowsiness may occur, do not drive or operate machinery, avoid alcoholic drinks or any sedating substances, headache, sleepiness and dry mouth may occur.
Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction occurs, symptoms persist, worsen, or new symptoms occur. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away. Read package insert before use. Do not use if carton is open or if sealed blister shows signs of tampering. Excellent product.
I have been using this product for more than 5 years. I have seasonal allergies and when it is summer my allergies get worse. This product has definitely made my itchy eyes and running nose less noticeable. I have noticed with consistent use my symptoms start to decrease every day and there are times when I don't need to take the pill.

Reactine to the rescue!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My allergies are out of this world and don’t really care what time of year it is. When Reactine comes to the rescue, I can breathe freely and not worry about itchy inner ear, watery eyes, runny and stuffy nose, and all the sneezing. It works in about 25 minutes then I’m able to go on with my day as if nothing happened. It actually works for 24 hours at a time and the pills are small enough to take even if I only have a small amount of water. I can slip them in my purse and take them whenever I need them and it never disappoints. Can’t go wrong with fast-acting and long-lasting!

Fast and effective!

I found the Reactine Extra Strength tablets worked quickly and effectively to prevent a reaction to outside allergens that usually bother me when I run outdoors. I took one about 10 minutes before heading out and didn't suffer at all during a half-hour run. The tablet was easy to swallow, which is important when you often have trouble with medication. I also like that it comes in a 10-pack as it's small enough to thrown in a purse/bag without taking up too much space. Reactine will definitely be added to the list of possible allergy relief the next time I have to purchase some.

Fast and Long-Lasting Allergy Relief
I recently tried Reactine Extra Strength for my seasonal allergies, and it worked impressively well. Within about 20 minutes, my sneezing and runny nose significantly reduced, and I didn't feel as drowsy as I usually do with other allergy meds. It's effective for a full 24 hours, so I didn't need to take multiple doses. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're looking for quick and long-lasting allergy relief.

For itchy skin caused by allergy
It works around an hour after, but lasted only last one day and when I take a 2nd dose the next day, it only lasted 6 hours before I got the itchy skin again. it's supposed to be extra strength and lasting 24 hours but it didn't do that anymore...

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Every spring I get super itchy, tearing eyes and a runny nose from something in my garden area. It is beyond annoying! Trying to pull weeds and clean up the winter debris is really awkward when you have to keep blowing your nose and wiping your eyes! After taking Reactine I could be outside and my eyes and my nose behaved themselves! It was wonderful to not have to stop working every couple minutes. Not having itchy eyes is the best! Thank you for the opportunity to try this product and it will be the only allergy tablet I will be buying from now on! It works!

Work only a fraction as well as another brand, for me at least
Was running out of Aerius (desloratadine) so I thought I'd tried Reactine, figured any allergy pill would work. My allergies are pretty bad this year, trees. When I took Reactine early morning (my usual daily time), they sort of worked but not very well, and even staying mostly indoors, my symptoms (itchy watery tearing eyes, runny nose) would partly but significantly recur occasionally throughout the day, and by evening would be much worse. I tried Reactine 3 days in a row just in case there was some 'getting adjusted' period, but they almost seemed to work less and less each day. Compared to what I was using (Aerius), there is no comparison. Aerius works drastically better, and far longer (I only get minor symptoms returning in the middle of the night, not even enough to bother me but just enough to tell the pill is wearing off). And with Aerius, I get no symptoms at all during the day/eve, even when outside in areas with tons of trees. Basically, for me anyway, reactine works maybe 20-30%, Aerius works 100%. Hope there is someway I can get a refund. Guess different allergy meds work and don't work for different people. Just remembered that another person I know tried them last year too, and they had no effect for her.

I ALWAYS HAVE REACTINE ON HAND
I suffer from seasonal allergies; sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, etc. I love gardening, walking, and hiking so staying indoors to avoid allergens isn’t an option. Reactine works quickly and lasts a good 12 hours to relieve my symptoms.
I also suffer from allergies to nickel and a lot of unidentified things that can cause a more systemic reaction; swelling, hives, eyes swollen shut, and extreme itching, in addition to my usual allergy symptoms. Reactine doesn’t work nearly as well or as quickly to relieve these reactions.
All in all, I’m satisfied with Reactine and I’m always sure to have it on hand.

Works well!
I have extremely sensitive and dry skin due to sarcoidosis and diabetes. I use the non-drowsy extra-strength a few times a week, when my creams don't seem to be working for me. It works in 20 minutes. The only problem I have is the non-drowsy makes me drowsy. I get a great sleep the nights I take it but am groggy the next day as well. I would rather be groggy than itchy though.

I could not live without this.
I have so many allergies, animals and environmental are at the top. I have been taking extra strength Reactine for over 20 years to keep my eczema at bay. In the last 3-4 years my allergies have gotten worse and I need to take 2 pills a day in order to have completely relief and I am fine with that. I react oddly to some medication and I have never had any problems with Reactine. This medication has saved my sanity, I used to take 4-6 showers a day just to try and stop the itching.

Perfect for my seasonal allergies!

Doesn't last long
It says it should last for 24hrs being extra strength, but its only good for a the first 2 - 3 hrs and the itching was back again.

It did not work for me
I have tried this product and sadly it has failed to work for my particular allergy issues. At the cost you have to pay you would think that you are purchasing something that should work, however found that it did not help with my stuffed up nose due to allergies, nor help alleviate the itch that I had developed on my legs and arms. I know that my sister uses it daily and finds it helps with her issues, but sadly did not find that it worked on me or my son who also has allergy issues.

Relived most of my allergy symptoms.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had never tried Reactine Extra Strength, only regular strength, as I always though extra strength would be too much. I found the extra strength tablets similar to Clairitin regular strength. I have year around allergies... itchy throat, itchy tongue, sneezing... etc. I did find that it relieved most of my allergies. I did still get some itchy throat and tongue though. I tend to rotate the allergy medications I use through the year so my body does not get to used to one medication. I will now include this in my rotation instead of the regular strength.

Instant allergy relief
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Since covid and mandatory masks my allergy symptoms have gotten much worse and nothing seemed to work. I was always stuffy and my eyes continually watered and were itchy. My usual alert pills just seemed to stop working, I recently tried some other products but with not much improvement. I have used the extra strength reactine for a few days now and I’m impressed with the relief it has given me, and I have not experienced any of the side effects. That some of the stronger allergy medication can give you. This will be my go to brand for all my allergy needs as it provided me with the relief from my symptoms that I was looking for.

Tiny and Effective
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Reactine tablets are easy to swallow. The tablet doesn't dissolve in the mouth but goes right down the esophagus. It works fast and is effective very quickly. There is no bitter after taste. It is nondrowsy. I used it when I colored my hair and my skin was not itchy. I even used it when I was dusting and my sneezing and runny watery eyes stopped very quickly. I would definitely recommend it. The package is nice and small and fits in my small crossbody purse and it is therefore easy to carry around. I did not have any side effects with using Reactine.

Great for slight grass allergy
I have a very slight allergy to grass and pollen. It become particularly bad in the spring/early summer months. I should mention that my allergies are manageable, THANKS to Reactine. I've been using this brand since I was young, and have continued using it due to it being anti- drowsy. Other brands of allergy relief have given me headaches and have at times caused me to feel sick.

Definitely recommend!
Reactine works for me every time. I decided to try it after other allergy medicines just were not helping me, and I'm so glad that I did. I definitely recommend Reactine as a great non-drowsy allergy medicine. It's more expensive, but worth it when it works like this.

Unexpected..
I recently used Reactine. I can't say it was the first time, but it definitely hasn't been one I've reached for IN YEARS. I was having all kinds if allergy issues like sneezing, runny nose, blowing my nose while it plugs my ears, trying to unplug my ears etc.). I took my other 2 allergy go-to meds for the umpteenth time that week to no avail. I was desperately looking through our medicine cabinet and BOOM! Reactine literally fell into my hand. I figured what the hay(fever) and decided to give it a go. It was literally nothing short of a miracle. Being able to breath and hear again definitely helped in my mood department, and I was officially safe from sneezing 20 times in a row AT LAST. Thank you reactine for you help. Your little blue box was the little blue cape I really needed to save me đ.

Good Nighttime or Overnight Allergy Meds

Have been taking Reactine Extra Strength Tablets for the past week and find that it works fast and provides consistently excellent daily allergy relief. For me, it falls just short of 5 stars only because I'm used to taking my allergy medication during the day but when I do that with Reactine, I find that something in the formula makes me feel drowsy about an hour or so after taking it. However, if I take it at night before bed instead, the drowsiness factor then works to my advantage as I sleep well and wake up without allergies. Would highly recommend to others who take their allergy meds at night or can make the change for Reactine.

Took care of myallergy symptoms!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I suffer from seasonal and environmental allergies. This time of year it is dust that affects me the most. With our woodstove going and windows closed up my allergies are at an all time high. The Reactine extra strength tablets relieved my symptoms and kept them at bay all say long. I generally wake up with watery eyes and continue with a sneezing fit but after taking Reactine I found a noticeable difference. They are easy to swallow and took effect quickly. I like that I only need one pill to get me through the day. I would highly recommend anyone suffering with allergies to take Reactine extra strength tablets for relief of their symptoms

Excellent for all-year round allergies and hives
Since moving to Canada, I have developed year-round pollen allergies and have recently suffered from hives. Reactine has been my life saver. I swear I cannot cannot go about my day and function normally without it. I take it everyday and ensure I bring extras with me everywhere I go.
