Refresh Optive works three ways to relieve Dry Eye symptoms. Its triple action formula moisturizes the surface of the eye, while also hydrating the areas where Dry Eye starts, and finally helps to protect your natural tears with a lipid-enhanced drop to reduce tear evaporation. Refresh Optive effectively relieves Dry Eye symptoms and provides longer lasting relief. Refresh Optive is safe to use as often as needed.
Directions: Instill 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.
Medicinal Ingredients: Carboxymethyl-cellulose sodium 0.5%, Glycerine 1.0%, Polysorbate 80 0.5%.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Boric acid, carbomer copolymer type A, castor oil, erythritol, levocarnitine, purified water, Purite (stabilized oxychloro complex). May also contain Sodium Hydroxide to adjust pH.

These eyedrops are just your run of the mill eyedrops. Basically they feel like water and do not last long. During the allergy season, I typically use my prescription drops twice daily, but in between I use others, if needed. This did not have any lipids, thus did not last more than a few minutes.

My fault I didn't read the ingredients well enough, it has Polysorbate 80 in it, I like to keep my microbiome healthy so I wont be using these drops and I can't return it :0(......to bad should of bought them off of Amazon.ca.....they were cheaper there too.
