Norwegian Gold Kids DHA is formulated to supply the Omega 3 fatty acids DHA and EPA which are often deficient in the Canadian diet of children. They help to support cognitive health and brain function, as well as support development of the brain, eyes, and nerves in children up to 12 years of age. Norwegian Gold Kids DHA also includes Vitamin D which helps in the development and maintenance of bones and teeth.
Norwegian Gold Kids DHA contains the Omega 3 fatty acids DHA & EPA from cold water fish, which are essential fatty acids (EFA’s). The body cannot produce these EFA’s, so they must be ingested from food sources such as cold water fish, raw nuts and seeds. The Canadian diet is often deficient in EFA’s, so it is vital for your child’s health to ensure adequate intake through supplementation.
Fatty acids just sound fatty but the truth is there are essential fatty acids that your body needs and cannot be make on its own! Get help choosing the right omega supplements for the entire family on our blog, The Well.

I just purchased your DHA for kids. I was going to give them to my 3 and 5 year olds in the morning, but thought I would give one a try first. I don't think I have ever been so disgusted by something that I've put in my mouth. Maybe there is something wrong with this batch? The liquid centre tasted foul - I didn't detect anything "fruit punch" about it. Then I thought maybe at least the chewy outside would taste good, but it was so tough I could barely chew it and tasted maybe even more disgusting than the centre. There is no way I would subject my kids to these! It would be cruel. I am so disappointed with this purchase.

Honestly I don't know how any kid will take these unless they can swallow them. They explode in your mouth if you bite them and the liquid isn't very good tasting and the capsule is like eating a piece of plastic. I take them because I don't want to waste them but my son won't touch them and I don't blame him.
