Beautiful product
I hadn't tried Revlon Colorsilk hair colour before that I knew of anyway. I was a little reluctant about trying this as it I thought would be less potent with no ammonia etc. It is a lovely hair color that's gentle on my already dyed blonde hair. I like that it left my hair beautiful and shiny, and is very natural looking. It did a reasonable job at covering the greys too. It left my hair in better condition than it was before I colored it. Amazing
I have been using revlon Color silk for a long time now and it’s always my go to coke from the drug store. This helps tone the brassiness of my brown hair and gives it an overall sheen that is unmatched . The name for this OSS correct regarding silk , it leaves my hair feeling soft and light and silk like. This will continue to be my Color of choice for at home use. The only downfall is the amounts of shades they currently have for burners. I would love to esime other color choices in the near future.

Yes I bought this
Yes I bought this on a whim thinking it kind a look good and I thought I would give it a try because I do like some of the browns and I was very pleased with it. I didn’t really get it at a great price but if you shop around you can find them. I got a decent price but the colour was good it lasted a long time and it covered the greys very pleased.

Revived my hair
I literally made an account just to leave this review. My hair was dead from bleach, my bf described it as "barbie hair". I dyed it dirty blonde and immediately noticed a difference, my hair felt softer. I decided to go fully black just a couple days later using the same brand, and I'm 100% certain this product revived most of my dead hair.

I bought this product
I bought this product over the lockdown because I wasn’t able to get to the salon and I wasn’t able to get any professional dye. I thought it should be a decent neutral toned dark brown… but it turned out extremely brassy at the roots… I’m a seasoned hair colourist so I know how to dye my hair… but this was not worth the time.. ďżź

Fades More Quickly Than Expected
On the plus side, it offers great coverage and leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny, plus the price is super affy. However, I did notice that the colour didn't last as long as I hoped and the application process could be a bit messy. Overall its a decent option if you're looking for a budget friendly hair dye.

Better out there
It states that this is #5 in hair dyes and I would agree. It isn't the best in my opinion but it does the job. The thing that turns me off is the smell of this dye. Unlike others the smell of this is very fragrant and smells like chemicals. I would recommend another hair dye brand before getting this.

Number 1 choice
Always my go to brand when dying my hair. The finished look is always stunning. Never fries my hair unlike other products and doesn't leave an overwhelming smell. Always looks exactly as advertised. Very satisfied every time. 100% would recommend if you're looking to do your own colour
