Rexall Complete Antibiotic Ointment

Rexall Complete Antibiotic Ointment has moisturizing Vitamin E. It helps prevent or reduce infection, helps aid healing and temporarily relieves pain and/or itching of minor cuts, scrapes and burns.

Directions: Adults and children 2 years and older: Clean affected area apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily, as required.  Do not apply a bandage for use in children 2 - 12 years, application should be supervised by an adult.  Do not use more than directed.

Active Ingredients (in each gram): Polymyxin B Sulfate 10 000 units, Bacitracin Zinc 500 units, Gramicidin 0.25 mg, Lidocaine 50 mg

Inactive Ingredients: Vitamin E and White Petrolatum

Warnings: For external use only.  Do not use in the eyes, over large areas of the body on raw surfaces or blistered skin, for teething pain if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.  Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have, deep or puncture wounds animal bites, serious burns.  When using this product avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation occurs the condition worsens or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or reoccur within a few days, you need to use longer than 7 days the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and / or pale, grey or blue coloured skin as these may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to two (2) hours after use Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away.
