Rexall Dairy Digestive

Rexall Dairy Digestive makes dairy foods such as milk, cheese, ice cream or yogurt more digestible for people who suffer from lactose intolerance. It helps prevent uncomfortable symptoms such as gas, bloating, upset stomach, cramps or diarrhea.

Recommended Dosage: (Adults) Take 3 to 6 caplets 3 times daily. Swallow caplets just before eating or drinking food containing lactose. Do not use more than 6 caplets at one time.

Medicinal Ingredient: (Each caplet contains)
beta-Galactosidase (Lactase Enzyme from Aspergillus oryzae) 3000 FCC Units

Non-medicinal ingredients: Croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide.

Caution: Keep out of the reach of children. Warning: If diarrhea persists for more than 2 days or in the presence of fever, consult a doctor. These caplets must be taken every time you eat a lactose-containing food since the enzyme has no lasting effect beyond the meal with which they are taken. Read labels for lactose content as some unlikely food products such as milk chocolate, pizza, puddings, hot dogs, pancakes, creamed soups, French fries, certain cakes and medications may contain lactose in the form of milk, milk solids or whey. Do not take this product if you have had a reaction to this or any other product containing lactase enzyme. NOTE: A desiccant has been added to the bottle for moisture absorption. Do not eat or discard desiccant upon opening.
