(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I took the time to also buy the Chic Hydro Silk shaving cream as I wanted to get the maximum effect of this product. Firstly I would like to say that the head of the Razr is way too wide. I couldn't get into the crevices of my knees or do my armpits. Also when I shaved my legs it would not grab the hair to cut it. It took me more time to shave my legs it did not get any closer of a shave and I found it so awkward to use. However the husband thinks it's great for the face and having kissed him this morning, I would have to agree at least there

Hydro Silk TrimStyle!! It's "The Bomb"!!
This shaver rocks!! Not only is it a shaver and trimmer all in one, but it is also waterproof!! It even comes with a battery!! Talk about convenient! I have sensitive skin and I was still able to get the closest shave that left my legs moisturized and no signs of irritation. The trimmer works great and is excellent for those "little touch-ups" .... no irritations and is really easy to use! I'm hooked! This product will now be a staple in my toiletry drawer and shower. Thank You Schick, Curious Creature, Glitter Geek and Sheer Beauty for giving me the opportunity to try this razor!

I would maybe suggest this razor to a friend but with the precaution that when the Hydra-Boost serum become activated by water, the razor becomes very slippery and hard to keep a grip on it! The little hole in the handle and the design helped me to hold it but I did drop it twice. I can't honestly say if this serum added any extra benefits to my shaving experience. Perhaps my legs felt a tiny bit more moisturized after shaving, but I did end up with bumps after shaving my underarms, so not sure how long this razor stays sharp.

The blades were good and it did leave my legs quite smooth (not more or less than any comparable blade) however, what I actually detested in this product was the fact that the serum strips - or whatever the heck that was surrounding the blade - basically melted after I exited the shower and left the blade on the side of the tub. The next time I would go to pick it up it basically left a trail of slime on the side of my tub - gross. After using it a second time I placed it in a different location in my bathroom but the same thing happened - which led me to term it an epic fail . I don't want to use a product like this that requires me to clean up after it.

Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor Is A Keeper
I was sent a razor thanks to both Glitter Geek and The Curious Creature so I passed one one to a friend to try. The razor was easy to hold and put the battery in. It is handy to have both a trimmer and razor all in one and that it is waterproof. My skin is very sensitive and I had no problems from irritation after using this product. It left my skin smooth and silky feeling thanks to the way the blades glide over the skin with the serum built in. It is a nice shape and angle for all surfaces. There are a lot of built in grips all along the handle which makes it easy to hold onto in the shower. I am happy with this and it will be replacing the razor I have been using due to it's ease of use and multi-functions.

It has a comfortable handle and a nice design, it does the job softly and it does give a close shave, however I sometimes felt the need to use it several times on the same area, because the razor did not cut all the hair. I usually end up with a crazy rash after shaving, with Hydro Silk I still had a irritation, however it wasn't as bad as usually. I also think that the head could have been more elastic, I sometimes felt like it is hard to manipulate the razor.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Hydro Silk Trim Style Razor

I was beyond excited when my free Schick Hydro Silk Trim Style Razor came in the mail and even more excited after feeling how smooth it left my skin and how simple it was to use (having never used a trimmer before lol). I was also surprised at how light it was! Really not much difference in weight from my usual Schick razor!! Even more shocking was the feel of my skin the next day! Still silky smooth and completely moisturized, totally unheard of! Awesome job! Will definitely be telling everyone!

I LOVED this razor and will definitely be looking to purchase it when I need to restock my supply - and with skirt/short weather here that will likely be very soon! This product's moisturizing properties were amazing, made shaving very easy and the need for shaving cream much less, and left my legs silky smooth afterwards. I would recommend printing storage suggestions on the package though because if the razor is left in wet conditions the moisturizing gel inside expands into a slimy mess.

Schick Hydro Silk Trim Style
I received this product from a blog giveaway on The Happy Sloth and tried to submit my review by July 3rd but you have not had the product pictured. I have messaged you but so far nothing is up so I am plugging this in here. Love the razor -it gave a very smooth shave but no cuts. I tried the trimmer on my bikini line but I have pretty coarse hair there and it took a lot of effort to get any results and my skin was very irritated and red after. It worked much better on longer, less coarse hair. I personally did not like the trimmer at all.

Great Hydration & Silky Smooth
I got my razor a few weeks ago, and was waiting for the hairs to grow properly so I could test the bad boy out.... but can I say, "WOW!" Loving it! I've used them all; disposables, Gillette Venus, dad's fancy "just for men" razor and even other Schick razors. I'm converted to this razor...The serum on the base making shaving easy and unnecessary for soaps. When touching with your fingers, you can feel the blades are sharp, but to the leg it is a smooth as silk. Can I even cut myself with this razor? Probably, and the price is great too. My refill for Gillette would've been more costly than the refill on these. My legs did tingle a bit after the shower, but was gone within minutes. Believe this is due to trying something new only. Love, Love, Love the razor!

I was using regular razors and I really saw the different between the regular one and this new product. This razor is very easy to use and is very flexible. After shaving, I noticed my skin very soft and hydrated. It really works. I also loved the fact of this razor has shea butter, that helped hydrate and protect my skin. This razor has high quality. I loved it!

STOP making women's razors with such ridiculously big moisture bars. they get in the way of a close shave and don't hug the skin around knees and ankles. i cut myself 3 times with this razor. i guess because a mans face has more contours, more thought is put into their razors. i will continue to use my husband's brand of razors and won't waste my money on women's brands.

I have used it to shave three times! My husband also borrowed it for his face and liked it a lot. The first time I used it I thought I'd left some sort of covering on as it didn't feel like a razor! I am not sure I will purchase as it's not something I feel is necessary for me but if I do decide to buy a razor it will be this one.

Silky, smooth.....I found my new fave razor!
I was so happy to be chosed by Writing Whimsy to try this new razor! I'm always afraid to try new razors because of the cost involved, especially since I'm very picky when it comes to my razor! I love this so much that I went and picked up my teenage daughter one so she would stop taking mine! Love the fact that it has a built in, waterproof trimmer, something I never thought I would have much use for, but in fact is one of my favourite things about this razor! Did I mention how much I love this razor!!!!!

The Best Shave I ever had
I was one of the lucky women to receive in a give away the Schick Hydro Silk Trim Style razor from Spiced Beauty Blog.
This razor is the best I have ever used, it shaves very close and moisturizes while doing it.
I like the fact that the Bikini Trimmer can be used in and out of the shower.
I was surprised that the razor came with a supplied battery.
I am very happy that I got the chance to try the Schick Hydro Silk Trim Style razor and I will defiantly continue using it now and in the future.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The serum did not 'activate' until I let the razor literally soak in water. Holding it under the shower wasn't enough. Unfortunately once it was 'activated' it was used up way too fast. So the 'hydro' aspect of the razor is nonexistent after two uses even though the blades are still good. The way the blades are positioned made it very easy to cut areas like my knees or ankles. After using this my legs were itchy, dry and irritated.

Hydro Silk Trim Style Razor Contest
I received this by winning a contest online! I am quite impressed with this razor. The replaceable blade head has a moisture strip that leaves my skin soft, which no other razor brand has done! And the trimmer- may I just say a huge thank you for coming out with this! It can be used wet or dry with same results. I found this razor/trimmer easy to get used to thanks to the grip. Great price value in stores. I am switching to this razor permanently, and throwing away the other brand!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is too clunky. The giant head around the blades makes it harder to use than a regular, inexpensive store brand razor. It left a film on my legs after I used it. I also sliced myself something fierce around my kneecap due to the awkward sized head. Over-engineered and not worth the price when I looked at it in store. It was way more than their closest 'male' version of the razor, too. Not a fan of the sexist pricing at all.

As promised, the moisture lasted for several hours. I had no nicks or cuts, and I felt smoother legs, for a longer time. The only thing I didn't like (and it doesn't matter all that much) was that there was no indication of the estimated time of use. I would have liked to see good for up to 5 shaves or something.

This razor stood up to all the tests I put it through. I was able to use it for an extended period of time, longer in fact, than any other disposable razor I have purchased in the past. I would highly recommend this to any women who need a complete razor for facial hair removal.

Schick seriously made a wicked razor , this gets soooo close and feels so smooth, I forgot any kind of shaving gel or body wash and used it with just water, which I would never do, but needed to shave and I would say it did a better job than my old Gillette with gel! It was so quick and easy , no razor burn ANYWHERE !!

Before leaping into the shower, it was ultra easy to top the battery into my new favorite gizmo. First up, my underarms. With its five blades, the new Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor and bikini trimmer effortlessly and soothingly shaves hair away and leaves my skin smooth. Next task, bikini. The battery operated trimmer trims down hair so that I feel civilized again. The handle is so well designed, it never slipped through my fingers once like other razors have.

But the Shick Hydro Silk did not disappoint! It took a bit to get used to the blade head as I found it a bit larger than the razors I typically use.
I have not yet purchased this product, I have, however, purchased refill blades for it.
Excellent product, I would definitely recommend it!

I quite like the Trimstyle Razor after recently trying it out. My favourite things about it are the way it feels, and its versatility. The razor is sturdy but light enough to not feel bulky. The texture of the casing is a soft rubber that feels good in your hand.
As for versatility, the razor allows for the obvious variety of trimming or shaving (depending on which end is used) but also allows for changing the batteries on the trim side or the head on the shaving side such that the expected lifespan of this product is almost infinite. I love that you can change trim length or remove the comb completely to get a close shave. The only thing I think the razor could incorporate is a tiny trim blade that could be interchanged to get small crevice areas with the trimmer.
I believe I will use this as my main razor from now on.

I think it might have something to do with the angle of the blades. I also find the heads to big and a man's contours you legs better. I would probably recommend this razor to some of my friends who like using this type of razor but I won't be buying it for myself.

NO nicks, tears, removal of hair was flawless. Good to add some cream afterwards, as that is also part of my every day regimen...and feeling refreshed and hairless...which makes me feel sexy. Soft smoothe legs for a few days before needing to shave again.

I love the Schick Hydro Silk Trimstyle! It's so great to have all the tools that may be needed in the shower! It's larger body makes it easy to grip and keep control. The five blades give an amazingly close shave! My legs stay smoother, longer! I also love the moisture strips that are on the blade. This razor is definitely worth the money, which is very little! Thanks for the opportunity to try this razor and I will be sticking with it for a while!
