Great shave! shame about the packaging
I love the weight and gentle cut of the blades. I have super sensitive skin and I do tend to cheap-out on my blades from time to time.
Would have given it 4.5 or higher if it wasn't for the crazy packaging!
There are five different pieces of plastic and two of cardboard not related to the handle and the two blades. Come on, this is not a rare figurine from one's exotic travels!
I may consider buying another if Schick gets sensible about its packaging.

Fantastic razor
As a dry shaver I found your razor more than adequate for me with only water. The lubricating edge was fantastic.
I used the razor 3 times and it worked well each time before it felt dull enough to throw away. The number of individual blades made for a very comfortable, Nick free shave. I thought at one point I was going to get nicked, but not at all.
The over all shave was so close I compared it to baby's skin. At my age (45) having a razor shave that close and that smooth was an incredible surprise!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to try such a great razor. I would do it again anytime!

Great precision shave!
I recently received the new Schick Hydro 5 Men's Razor in exchange for an honest #sponsored review. I asked my father to review it on my behalf and he quite liked it.
One of his favourite aspects of the razor was the flip back top because it allowed him to have a great precision shave. The hydrating gel and skin guards kept his skin hydrated and prevented his skin from getting irritated or too many nicks.
His only concern is that the blade wasn't as sharp as he prefers. Overall however my father said he would buy new Schick Hydro 5 Men's Razor and would recommend it if asked. #sponsored

Great Disposable Razor!
Thanks to Schick Hydro and Tales of a Ranting Ginger- #sponsored- my husband and I were able to try the Schick Hydro 5 disposable razor. My husband has used the razor on his face for the last 2 out of 3 days and loves it. The 5 blades made it a clean, close shave without having to go over an area more than once and didn't irritate his extremely sensitive skin.
I also tried the razor, and loved how lightweight it is, how smooth the moisture strip left my skin, and how close the shave was. I had trouble when I dropped it in the shower and the razor head came off- wow was it hard for me to get it back on!- but overall I enjoy using the razor and will continue to purchase it for both my husband and I!

Wow... I am impressed!

I dislike shaving. I really do. I avoid doing it for as long as I can. However eventually I start looking like a sasquatch so I need to shave. Well, spring is here and it was time for me to reluctantly shave off my sasquatch face.
As I started shaving with the Schick Hydro® 5 Disposable I couldn't believe how great of a job and how painless it was to shave. I was done in no time at all with a very clean shave.
The Schick Hydro® 5 Disposable will be my go to razor from now on whenever I need to shave. Shaving still won't be my favourite activity, but thanks to this razor it got a lot more enjoyable than I used to find it.

Great Razor
My husband and 16yo son have both tried these razors many times now. They both liked it quite well. It glided over the face well and didn`t cause any irritaions or rash for either of them. My husband likes the fact that it is disposable ,so it can be thrown away after a few uses. He also likes the feel of it on his face. My son likes the feel of it and how easily it cuts his bit of hair on his face with no cuts or rash.
We are all happy with this razor ,I recommend it and will buy them again.

Nice, clean shave
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
Both my husband and I both decided to try it.
He used it with shaving gel and was really happy with the shave. He still had some irritation, but it was less than he usually has. No nicks or cuts.
I used it on my legs with shaving gel and they were nice and smooth and didn't feel irritated afterwards. I had no nicks or cuts.
I would have preferred if the razor had a bit more weight to it. I did really like the texture on the handle. It was nice and grippy.
Overall, we are really happy with it.

I just tried the Schick HYDRO 5 disposable Jetable razor, and I must say I am so impressed! When I recieved this for a review all I could think was "yeah, yeah, they're all the same"! I was using a brand name disposable but after using the Hydro 5 I'm sold for sure. My new found friend left me with amazing soft skin from the Hydrating Gel Reservoir, the design of the handle fit perfectly into my hand for more control. I can go on and on about this product, but the best way to see how perfect this razor is would be to check it out yourself, I highly reccomend this razor to anybody. They are so worth every cent spent to buy these razors and there are coupons online for discounts, check it out, you'll love them no doubt! #sponsored

Works well!
I received this product to try for free and gave it to my husband and asked him to give me all the details on the shave, here is his opinion. He really enjoyed the razor, he thought the shave was super close, it didint irritate his skin, he didn't get razor burn for it and he felt the shave was a lot closer than some razors. The one and only negative review he had about the razor was the lack of trimmer at the top of razor blade as seen on some razors but he said that was not enough to make him stop using the razor and he would continue to do so!

Great Razor at a great price.
I have tried a few razors to maintain my "no hair" look and Schick Hydro 5 disposable works as well as high priced razors. It moves smoothly and follows the contour of my head. Shaves clean and close to the root of the hair. The head moves nice and not stiff live conventional disposables. Really liked the gel reservoir feature since it doesn't feel dry during and after shaving.
I would recommend this to all those thinking of purchasing a razor that really works at an affordable price.

Awesome Razor for everyone
We really loved the Schick Hydro 5 men's disposable razor. The package we received had 3 razors in it, so I gave one to my 18 year old son, one to my husband, and I kept one for myself. We all agreed that we received a nice, close, and comfortable shave. My son and husband didn't knick themselves at all and felt the shave was better than other disposable razors they have tried. I really liked how smooth and soft my lefts were after shaving, and I loved not getting any knicks around my knees or ankles! My son has asked that I only buy his this variety in the future! Great razor, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality disposable razor!

This razor may just be a girls best friend! Both hubby enjoyed a clean, smooth shave that lasted a few days and I enjoyed it for myself with a nice close shave on my legs that was also hydrating and cut free. The handle makes it easy to hold, twist and turn. It didn't seem to dull very fast, used a few times before I would say I needed to throw it away. It is also great for taking on trips and getaways. I would seriously consider giving up my razor brand and purchasing this one. Thanks Parent club for the chance to try it out!

This really word for me.
I picked up a package of the disposable hydro when they were on special.i was expecting the 5blade design to be more of a gimmick than anything special.
But I was impressed with how good it worked. I still get a great shave after using the sme blade for a couple of weeks. Better than a fresh triple blade. The hydro really works effort me.

Schick Hydro 5 Razor
I received this razor to try and I was very happy with the results. I do not shave every day but have used this razor 4 times and I am still on the first blade ( very impressed ). This will make the cost very manageable. I usually use a more expensive razor but this worked equally as well, if not better. It gave me a smooth close shave with no irritation. I have big hands but the grip on the handle worked for me. I would recommend this and I will be switching to save money. Thanks for the chance to try this.

Close shave no irritation
I received this razor for purpose of review. I really enjoyed trying out this razor, I usually use a razor with replacement heads so this was nice to try. I have grey in my goatee which i find a little more coarse and hard to shave without taking a couple swipes, i got a nice clean shave with one swipe. My skin didnt get irritated and there was no razor burn. My opinion on disposable razors has changed you can get a easy clean shave with this one I will buy again and definitely recommend to others.

I was provided a package of Schick Hydro 5 Disposable razors to review from Milk & Coco. I have been using them for the last little while to trim my facial hair, they work exceptionally well and have not caused any irritation. The blades are nice and sharp which works great for getting a clean crisp edge on my neckline. I was skeptical a disposable could work as great as my other razors but it definitely did a much better job. I will definitely recoomend this to friends and family. #sponsored

thanks to ParentClub.ca for providing me with a Schick hydro 5 disposable my hubby was ably to try this awesome disposable razer -- I loved how clean and close the shave was after he was done shaving --his face felt so soft. He loved the schick hydro 5 disposable razer as well , normally he uses a razer that you need to replace blades when dull the ice thing about the schick hydro 5 disposable razer is you throw away and start again --my hubby is impressed and will be buying in the future

Amazing razor and it's husband approved!
I received the new Schick Hydro 5 razor to review and my husband was more than willing to give it a try. My husband really enjoyed the grip and the feel of the handle because he said it allowed him to feel each blade cut. He had a very clean and close shave with no irritation. Hubby's a Believer!
I received a sample for hubby to try and he was thrilled with the results. A nice, close shave, and easy glide. He emphasized how well it maneuvered over his chin esoecially. It has instantly become his new favorite razor. He bought the 8 blade refills at one store for $31. And then when we did our weekly shopping trip at our usual store, he found them for $22. So, it pays to shop around. He is now well stocked up and has a face I love to touch even more than before! :)

Not too shabby
I received this product in order to use and review. I used the razor to shave my legs and my husband used another to shave his face with. We both had great results with a clean, close shave, however my husband had some difficulty when maneuvering around the base of his nose. He stated that it worked great on the rest of his face, until it came to smaller areas like under the nose. He has to re-shave that spot 3 times. All in all, we were impressed as it is a disposable.

Great disposable razor
I recently started using this razor to shave my legs, and so far I am very happy with it. I brought it on vacation and forgot to bring shaving cream, and even without shaving cream this razor provided a clean, close shave and did not damage my sensitive, dry skin in any way. Most times disposables leave me with a rash, bumps, unshaved spots etc. but so far I have not experienced any of that with this razor after having used it for 2.5 weeks now (every couple of days).

Smooth and Kissable
For the last three weeks I have been faithfully using the Schick Hydro Razor. I was nicely surprised that it gave a smooth close shave . With little effort my 5 o" clock shadow was gone. I like the idea that the design actually works well with tough spots to get at without chewing up my face. The real test is giving my spouse a kiss where she actually did not back away, I was told before it was sandpaper, now after using the Schick Hydro, smooth and kissable.

Razor Delivers A Clean Smooth Shave
I received the Hydro 5 Disposable Razor for free from Parent Club for the purpose of trying it and providing my honest opinion. I gave the razor to my husband to give it a whirl. He first used the razor in the shower to shave his face with water. He had a couple of days growth to shave away so it was a good time to test the razor's ability. The Hydro 5 razor provided a close clean shave without nicks, cuts or razor burn. He likes how well the razor contours his face and the how close of a shave he gets. He said the hair was removed easily without irritation. I like how kissably smooth his face was left after shaving. He tried the Hydro 5 razor again with shaving cream and was equally impressed with the shave results. Hydro 5 disposable razors have made it our shopping list! I will definitely recommend this product to others to try.

Thee Razor
It was a little strange having my hover over me and take pictures as I shaved my face. I've been using Schick razors for all of my shaving life. Every year or so I upgrade to the next model. I was given this razor to review and it exceeds my previous model. It glided well, I didn't have to go over parts and the moisture strip was an added bonus for my sensitive skin.

Got this free to try, honestly can say very impressed, smooth shave in one go, nice touch with the moisture strip. No cuts, no irritations, great packaging, very easy to change blades unlike other razors. My husband loves this razor since i got this for him closest shave he has had in a while great weight to it doesn't feel cheap and great design and colour of the razor. I used the razor myself i think i will be stealing it back from my husband!!

Fantastic razor
The Schick hydro 5 razor worked great on my legs. The grip on the razor was very comfortable in my hand and was not too light like most disposable razors. It left my legs very smooth and soft, and I didn't get any nicks or cuts. I loved the moisturizing strip, which left my legs feeling moisturized ,even without putting lotion on them.
Overall I would recommend this razor to others and I would purchase in the future.

A Nice Close Shave
I was sent the Schick Hydro 5 to review. My boyfriend doesn't use a razor, he prefers an electric shaver so I tried the razor myself. The arrival of the razor coincided with my winter vacation, and I knew I'd be wearing a bathing suit so I needed a close shave. That I did get. I shaved the day before I left and found I was left with smooth skin, no nicks or bumps. I love this razor and would recommend it to others.

Was very excited to try this razor Schick Hydro® 5 always looking for a close shave and a good quality razor. No irritations, no cuts smoothest shave i have had with a manual razor, great feature of the Schick Hydro® 5 has moisture strips. Feels really nice on the skin and i don't have to use shaving cream if i didn't need to. My Wife was so impressed that she tried it on her legs. she been raving about it since!!!

My husband tried the Schick Hydro 5 and he loves it. He said it left no stubble on his face, he got a nice smooth shave and it doesn't give him razor burn. He liked the weight of the razor and the handle grip as well. He uses it all the time since he got it and said he never had a razor that was this good.

No as bad as he expected
I will start off by saying that my husband has extremely sensitive skin. He frequently goes through blades to avoid getting ingrown hairs and having rashes and overall razor burn. His experience with disposable razors has been terrible, therefore, even the idea of trying one again almost made him cringe. However, he did it! And he was pleasantly surprised. He found that the razor was very sharp (so much so he wasn't expecting it and pressed to hard and almost cut himself!) He felt that overall, the shave was very good. He still did get some razor burn and some ingrown hairs, but overall, he was pleased with shave it gave him as it was a very close shave and the re-growth wasn't as immediate as other disposables he has used. He may even consider using these disposables for vacations and traveling in the future.
