Small, sharp pieces of husk
I really wanted to love this product but it absolutely needs to be sifted before use and this is not indicated anywhere on the packaging. I made a vegan dessert that requires forming small balls by rolling the dough between your palms and literally, these sharp pieces of husk were poking my skin. They felt so sharp, I ended up not serving the dessert to my guests, as intended. Unless you are prepared to sift, and you will have to, don't purchase.
