Wooden Soap Dish
After buying one of these soap dishes, I purchased 2 more because I love the look. Later I noticed that water collects underneath which makes them slide around the counter. I added rubber stick-on feet to the bottom which seems to help solve the problem. You will need to clean these regularly (soap gets in the grooves) and make sure the underside is dry. Might be high maintenance for an often used sink.

Moldy after 3 months
I was happy with this item at first - it is sleek looking. But sadly, it was moldy after 3 months of use. Clearly it didn't handle being used in a shower well.

Moldy after 3 months
We were happy at first but after 3 months of use, the bottom of the holder started to get moldy. We tried to keep it as dry as possible but it just continued to get worse.
