New recipe is excellent!
I have tried the old recipe and thought they were a great alternative to candy, however, the new recipes for both the seriously sour and fruity Smart Sweets don't feel like an ""alternative"". They ""are"" my candy. The old recipe was very chewy-- the new recipe has the same consistency as gummy bears so you don't notice the difference like you notice with other common ""healthy alternative"" (eg. protein pancakes). I am so happy that there are low sugar options out there so that I don't have to ruin my healthy eating and overall wellness regime because I am having a craving for candy. Thank you for championing this product!

Was introduced to Smart Sweets as part of a birthday gift earlier this year. As a lifetime "sugar-holic" with a paternal family history of adult onset diabetes, I've been trying to drastically reduce to my sugar consumption since turning 40, and was extremely impressed by how delicious this product tasted with so little sugar. The bonus - I am supporting a local product, the founder having attended my alma mater - thank you Tara Bosch for sharing such a great product! I purchased the bulk pack, and will be back for more soon!

My 4 yr old with type 1 diabetes
My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes just over a year ago. I was never one to feed my kids sugar, but for a treat, I would give them a few gummies. When my son was diagnosed, I stopped. Broke my heart that I didn't have the luxury to give him what I wanted, when I wanted. I was watching Dragons Den, and saw this AMAZING product, where I could potentially give gummies to my son without feeling like his blood sugar would spike. I couldn't believe the amount of fiber! It was amazing. The first time I gave my son a few, his face lit up, as did mine, knowing eating these gummies aren't bad AT all. He's satisfied and SO happy with 6 at a time. These smart gummies have made one little boy very happy :)

OMG, these are the best "almost" sugar free candies I have found out there! I have diet controlled gestational diabetes and feel totally fine eating these candies without worrying that they'll bump my blood sugars! It's also a nice treat for my 2year old, who I don't feed candy to at all, but I'm comfortable with her eating these! The texture and taste are just like regular gummy bears.....you wouldn't even know the difference if you didn't see the packaging!

Best Gummies Ever
I have been eating the SmartSweet gummies for a while now. When I first heard of the 'new improved' gummies I was frightened I'd have to find another product. I haven't had much luck with 'new improved' products in the past, they have never been the same... SmartSweets is the exception. The flavours are even better (which I didn't think was possible) I usually don't like sour candies either but again the new SmartSweets Sour surprised me I enjoy the occasional bag of sour gummies now. The customer service is also excellent!

These are on point taste and texture wise, they are my favourite from the sweet treats line. This is the only candy I allow my toddler to have because of the low sugar and no dairy, and he loves these! I like these much better than your average candy store gummy bears, it is the right amount of sweetness.

I LOVEEEEE sugar and i decide to be more careful about my health recently and those candies are like the PERFECT option for me ! I am also picky with the candy I eat and thoses are really good in taste and texture! Yes they are more expensive but they totally worth the price!!

Contains gelatin
I LOVE smart sweets. BUT I do not eat foods with gelatin, and I’m disappointed this says plant based, when gelatin is an animal byproduct. Is there an explanation? I would recommend the peach rings and the Swedish fish if vegetarian/vegan.
