In a different class. Can't be compared to Abbott's garbage syrup
I suffer from diverticulitis and gluten sensitivity. I have had three acute attacks in 10 weeks. Peritonitis was my first attack which left me in hospital for a week. When I need to go on bowel arrest and I cannot stomach solid food and my energy from drinking just water and broth has caused me to feel fatigued beyond words - I can stomach this. No fillers, no gluten- - just high quality ingredients. Be warned it does have a chalky texture and not the best mouth feel, but after I drank just ONE of these - I got a major energy boost - fasting for three days had taken its toll. It's better than Boost or similar products. It doesn't irritate the GI and gives you energy. I will be drinking these whenever I have flare ups and after my scheduled surgery - because it's effective, gentle and gives you energy. Yes, it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Best served chilled. Real food energy can't be done synthetically.
