Teva-Loperimide 2mg is a a generic brand of Loperamide 2mg,. It is an oral anti-diarrheal agent that comes in tablet form.
Dosage for Adults and Children Age 12+:
- Take 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement. Take up to to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
- Drink plenty of caffeine free, clear fluids.
- Not recommended for chidlren under 12 years of age, except on the advice of a physician.
Warnings:
- While diarrhea is not normally a serious condition, the patient should contact their doctor immediately, if it is associated with high fever or if blood is present in stools.
- If diarrhea does not resolve in 48 hours, patient should discontinue the medication and consult their physician.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of accidental overdose, consult physician immediate or contact your Poison Control Centre.
- Teva-Loperamide should not be used in pregnant or nursing women, except on advice of a physician.
Caution: Should not be used by pregnant or nursing women except on the advice of a physician. Loperamide treats only the symptoms, not the cause of the diarrhea. Keep out of the reach of children

Well-priced brand name alternative
My family all suffers from IBS so we take Imodium from time to time. I came across this brand on Well.ca and was happy with the price compared to name brand and it works just as well!

It Works!
I've had loose stools for years and tried many avenues to solve the problem. I take half of one of these pills, 3 times a day, and....problem solved! Highly recommended if you have consistently loose stools and can't seem to figure it out.

Used for Months - Still Works
I take 1/2 pill, 4 times a day, to help with chronic near-diarrhea that has gone on for years. It has worked consistently over that time. No side effects, no problems, works consistently, cheap product. How do you go wrong?

Excellent price and functionality
Not only is this product a fraction of its brand name cost, but it seems to work better, too. I usually only find myself needing half in situations where I usually take a whole immodium. Definitely slows things down.

Still Using It - Months Later
I take 0.5 of a loperamide pill, 4 times per day, to slow down my stools so I don't have near-diarrhea, which has been chronic for years. This works. No side effects, no problems, improved stools, inexpensive product. Can't go wrong.
