Everyone needs Niacinamide (and Hyalauronic Acid)!
These are my skin concerns and the reason for buying this product: clogged/enlarged pores, small spots, dehydrated skin, uneven texture, and recently hormonal acne along jaw and neck.
At 36 I finally decided to up my skincare regime...in baby steps (while I try to avoid questionable, harmful ingredients). The Ordinary's Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid are the first products I've tried. And wow! Why in the heck haven't I been using these ingredients all my life?? Its been 7 days of 2x daily use and my skin is better than its ever been! Seriously.
I think I went through a purge for a couple days and now my skin is sorting itself out. No more bumpy texture, no new jawline acne, smooth, soft, fading acne scars, and diminishing my frown and laugh lines.
Right after cleansing I rub two drops of Hyaluronic acid between my finger tips and PAT it onto my entire face (lips too), let it soak in, then do the same with the Niacinamide. When its fully dried/absorbed, I apply moisturize by patting it on to avoid pilling. AM and PM.
I'm waiting on my next order of products - Pcynogenol and 100% plant derived squalane to replace my oil moisturizer. Working my way up to a peptide and acid for my fine lines.

If you have a T-zone but normal skin on the rest of you face, this is for you!
I would give this product 10 our of 5 if I could. I love this stuff. I have read other reviews on other sites of people not finding it works, or that it does something weird when they put make-up on, but not for me. I don't wear foundation or anything, so maybe I can't say it WON'T do that, but that still wouldn't deter me. I'm buying the large bottle next time (though this little one does last long!). I put it on day and night after I wash my face (I just started using their Squalane stuff that changes consistency to oil after you rub it in your hands - good stuff!). I put my Cetaphil combo skin moisturizer on after that and that's it. I like a simple regime and this helps. NO TONER NEEDED. I was using the famous toners out there, even witch hazel, but I was not seeing results and was getting a bit of a reaction I think. Now, great skin. PORES ARE SMALLER! Not completely gone because they're genetic and can't go away completely, but definitely cleaner and smaller. I also used to have LITTLE PIMPLES along my forehead (for years). Gone! It may be a combo with Squalane face wash, but whatever it is, I am 100% satisfied. Yay! :) Also, just bought a exfoliator from Ordinary the other week to try to exfoliate and see if that will also help brighten even more. We'll see! :)

Less Facial Oil and Evidently Less Blackheads
I use three drops mixed with three drops of Hylauronic Acid + B5 every morning. The product seems to do a wondrous job at balancing out my facial oil preventing what I like to call my three to five-hour sheen (in about three to five hours my face has oil)! While I mix the product with the Hyaluronic acid to add a hydrator into my morning routine, I mainly use it to dilute the product from 10% to about 5% since my face is extremely sensitive. So, to avoid irritation/burning, I was suggested to do just that.
My skin before adopting serums into my skincare routine was S U P E R dehydrated and somewhat oily as the day went on no matter what cleanser or moisturizer was used. I have sensitive rosacea-prone, dry-combination skin, and keeping an evenly hydrated skin texture was something I never assumed I would be capable of having BUT ever since I adjusted my skincare regiment, for the first time, I can wholeheartedly say that my skin breaks out less, has less visible blackheads (still there, but the quantity/visibility/darkness over the past five months has lessened), not irritated/inflamed (still red, of course, but muted), no longer itchy from dryness and retains moisture throughout a 12 hour period before washing my face again for the night (using solely a Matrixyl serum).
Using three to four drops daily lasts me about five months before needing to repurchase the product. The consistency has a thicker texture but it isn't overly sticky/tacky but it does have a bit of a stick that goes away in a manner of minutes and evenly spreads across the face. The glass container is thick and won't shatter if you knock it over on the counter. After knocking it on the counter (cap open, but somehow it never spilled) on more than a few occasions, I can guarantee it's not a cheap/thin glass container. So, I'd say that finding a broken container upon shipping isn't something to worry about! I would suggest ensuring your face is damp before applying the serums since the Hylauronic acid is meant to trap the present moisture on your face, so without moisture, it may not feel as hydrated after its application. That said, it's well worth its price point and a truly quality product. I couldn't endorse this company enough!
