The Ordinary Serum Foundations are lightweight medium-coverage formulations available in a comprehensive shade range. These foundations offer moderate coverage that looks natural with a very lightweight serum feel. They are very low in viscosity and are dispensed with the supplied pump.
The pigments used in this format are treated for a rich, highly-saturated effect. These pigments are suspended in The Ordinary's proprietary spreadability system that allows pigments to look natural on the skin, resist collecting within fine lines and stay on for longer. The foundations offer a semi-matte finish and are compatible with most primers and are designed to work exceptionally well with The Ordinary primers.

Directions: Shake before use. Dispense a small amount into the palm or the back of your hand. Smooth on and blend throughout the face, ideally outward from the midpoint of the face.

Awesome product. I love how pigmented it is for a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation. A little goes a long way.
I think the key is what primer you pair this with. It works perfectly with the High-Adherence Silicone Primer for a matte finish. For those who prefer a dewy finish, there's the High-Spreadability Fluid Primer (haven't tried this one, since I'm going for matte).
3.2 N is a perfect match for me. I wish Well.ca carried 3.2 R and 3.3 N for when I get darker in the summer months.

I'm really enjoying this product so far though it performs very differently depending on whether I've used primer. I have dry skin, so when I tried it without primer, it was chalky, settled into my pores, not great at all. With primer, however, (and I've used a couple different ones) it's incredible: the finish is very light and dewy, it doesn't settle into pores or get dry patches, and stays consistent and lasts all day. I'm thrilled to have discovered this product and will totally buy it again.

Can’t even feel it on my skin!
I’ve always just used concealer and powder due to oily skin, but wanted to give something else a try. I don’t like the feeling of thick makeup on my face, especially as the day goes on, but this provides the perfect amount of coverage and I don’t feel it on my face at all! It lasts all day too. I definitely recommend it.

I don't usually wear foundation but took a chance on this one because of the price. I found it super runny and super pigmented. Since the color is not quite a perfect match for me, it's horribly noticeable when I wear it as is. So I add a tiny drop to my day cream and it give a nice tint. The way I use it, this bottle should last me forever.

This is a great foundation. Comes out runny but once applied, it stays put. Doesn't transfer everywhere, skin-like finish, doesn't crease in my smile lines, and covers fairly well. I got 3.2N and was skeptical that it would be dark enough, but not only did it match, it actually did a decent job of masking hyperpigmentation. I'll be reordering for sure.

Terrible bottle, impossible to clean
Great price, decent product for coverage but wow is the bottle a nightmare and it is difficult to clean off of any surface including hands. The foundation gets stuck in the small opening of the bottle which is poorly designed, and then no matter how much you wrap your hand around it when you squeeze it out it will spray out at a near impossible angle (backwards) on your white sweater (this is a thing that just happened to me) or your white wall - a thing that happened last week took me more than 30mins to clean as it does not wipe away easily. I won't buy it again and I am pretty sure it will not be coming out of my sweater's fabric given how hard it was to wash off a wall, so this may be ruined. It might be cheap but it is not worth all the extra work it creates.

Just ok.
Previously bought the full coverage but got the wrong shade. The full coverage wasn’t available in my shade so I purchased this one, did not realize there was going to be such huge differences in the 2. This is liquid and doesn’t go on very nicely.
It’s like you have to wait 15 minutes for it to “dry” and then it’s very chalky and feels heavy.
I mix a little of this with the darker full coverage that I have and it’s like OK.
I have a BB cream (from another company) that works better then the 2 Ordinary foundations combined so it’s going into the back up bag.

The make-up itself is fine. It gives light coverage with no scent. The pump is a nightmare and no matter how closely I hold it too my palm it splatters on the counter. Today it splattered on my brown linen top. I put it in the wash immediately and was very surprised to find that it had actually removed all the colour from the fabric where the splatters had landed. Little white spots just like bleach.... not sure IâÂÂm going to feel comfortable enough to put this on my face ever again.
