Trophic Chelazome Calcium

Trophic’s Calcium Amino Acid Chelate is synthesized using the patented Albion process – amino acids are bound to minerals to result in a more efficiently absorbed formula. As an organic mineral, calcium is carried through the intestinal wall intact and the amino acids release calcium into the bloodstream to be used by the body. Since the movement of calcium chelate across the intestinal wall to the bloodstream is not dependent upon a calcium-binding protein, Vitamin D3 does not appear necessary for the absorption of Trophic Calcium Amino Acid Chelate. Up to 99% of the calcium in the body is found in the hard tissues (tooth and bone). The remainder is distributed widely throughout the soft tissues and organs, performing a variety of important functions.
