This matcha is harvested and produced from spring buds and tender young tea leaves. Their matcha tea plants are grown in partial sunlight (i.e. they are covered with a canopy) for a few weeks each spring, which boosts the amount of chlorophyll in the leaves, thereby increasing the concentration of anti-oxidants.
After harvest, the tea is meticulously ground into very fine particles and shipped to Two Hills, where they keep it in a temperature-controlled room for optimal quality and freshness!
Recommended: Excellent for use in lattes, frappes, ice cream, and smoothies.

Same Package, Different Product
This matcha is extremely inconsistent. My first bag was a dark green, and great for lattes. My second was a light yellow colour. Said light yellow matcha is so bitter I literally gagged this morning while trying to drink it. Do yourself a favour and buy elsewhere.

Basis for a great drink. Love the taste when diluted in small amount of hot water then poured into soy milk.
