Extra Strength Tylenol Complete Cold, Cough & Flu Caplets provide the trusted relief of Tylenol for your cold, cough, and flu symptoms. Each tablet contains 500 milligrams of acetaminophen for relief of pain, fever, chills, body aches, and sore throat pain, 15 milligrams of dextromethorphan hydrobromide for relief of dry cough, 30 milligrams of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride for relief of nasal congestion and 100 milligrams of guaifenesin for relief of chest congestion.
Directions: Do not use with other products containing any of these ingredients, salicylates, or other cough/cold or pain/fever medications. Adult use only. Read the complete label before use and follow all directions. Adults/children (12 years and older): Take two caplets every six hours. Do not exceed eight caplets per day.
Caution: Keep out of the reach of children. This package contains enough medication to seriously harm a child. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Overdose may cause nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness, or severe or possibly fatal liver damage. Consult a doctor before use with other medications, including natural health products, prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, or if you have chronic alcoholism, serious kidney or liver disease, high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, chronic lung disease, shortness of breath, asthma, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, or are elderly, pregnant, or breastfeeding. . Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI, e.g. drug for depression) or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI. Persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. Use only on the advice of a doctor. Consult a doctor if fever lasts more than three days, sore throat pain lasts more than two days, or symptoms last more than five days. If symptoms worsen or are accompanied by a high fever (>38° C) or the production of thick, yellow/green phlegm, talk to a doctor. Do not take if allergic to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use if allergic reactions such as wheezing, rash, or itching develop.
Do not use if a blister unit is broken. Child-resistant package.
Store between 15 and 30° C. Protect from light. Keep dry.

Caused insomnia
Terrible product for nighttime. Wish I had read the reviews. Took before bedtime (the night formulation) and was up all night and had the worst restless legs I’ve ever had. This is the last thing you need when sick. I have no idea why Tylenol continues to market this product for nighttime with so many similar reviews.

Plan doses around sleep
I experienced difficulty sleeping in the evening, if I failed to plan my doses.
I had to avoid taking daytime caplets (2) eight hours before bed, or I couldn't get to sleep.
Other then that these were very effective and I experienced relief of my cold symptoms.

Kept me up all night
Like what others have said, I took this product before going to bed at around 9:30 at night as I wanted something to clear my nasal congestion, however it kept me awake with restless legs until like 2 in the morning. Was really aggravating and will not recommend.

Works great but makes you Drowsy
In comparison to all the "restless syndrom" reviews, I had the complete opposite effect. I have never slept deeper than with this pill, but my only complaint is that the daytime pill aswell makes me drowsy. Other than the drowsiness, mucus and cough are gone almost instantly, pain takes a bit longe to kick in but my headache was gone within the hour.

No sleep
First time I have ever used this product. I usually buy the no name brand, but it was on sale. I used the day time one, and it helped with my symptoms. I was even able to take a nap. Popped the night time one before bed, and stayed up the WHOLE NIGHT, tossing and turning. When you are sick you need sleep to help you recover, and now I feel worse. Lie tartly will be tossing this in the bin

Packaging is terrible. Not easy at all to get the pill out. Then when I took Tylenol Complete it kept me up all night. Terrible. Don't recommend to anyone.

Great for Head Colds
The day time pills help me function during the day and the night pills help me sleep at night. I don't know if this product works well against coughs, but it definitely helps to stop a runny nose and watery eyes.

Awake not asleep
I purchased the nighttime liquid for cold & flu and found myself wide awake and restless much of the night. I don’t understand. It’s happened 3 nights in a row. I won’t be purchasing this nor recommending it. Sorry!

Helps me Breathe!
I'm not a fan of taking medications at all so I try to avoid them most often but after trying Tylenol Complete I do not hesitate to take them when I actually do get sick. It helps me to breathe, clears up the congestion and that awful stuffy nose and also helps me to get a great night sleep which is definitely needed when sick! I have gotten my family to use this product as I know it helps and they are just as pleased with the product as I am. Highly recommended!

Awful medicine for Night
Hi I had to get up and finally take melatonin wonder why this is made for at night.It does not relieve any symptoms but kept me wide awake.Yoy should change the formula i dont think this is appropriate if people want to rest and sleep with a cold how awful.

No dosage listed on package. I took one daytime pill yesterday and felt nauseated, then I had a night time one last night. I had two daytime pills today and am feeling much better aside from the trembling and nausea caused by the medication.

good for colds
I take this pretty much whenever I have a cold and it's bad enough that I feel the need for medicine. Love taking it at night to help me get some rest and it does the trick at stopping runny noses. The only downside is that you wake up super thirsty and dried out (since it dries out the runny nose symptom). Just make sure to drink lots of water before and after taking Tylenol cold.

It works
I had a cough and couldn't sleep at night. If I don't have enough sleep, I can not think and function. I decided to take 1 Tylenol Complete Cold, Cough & Flu before I went to sleep. It worked because I fell asleep and woke up the next morning. I did not cough the whole night. I felt wonderful the next morning. The cough came back much later in the day.

This worked great!
My husband, who also has allergies, had a very bad head cold with a cough and was desperate for relief. I asked the pharmacist which product to use and he recommended this product. It worked great both day and night - it got him through the worst of his cold. We definitely keep it handy!

Day or Night.
My favorite part about this product is simple, I have the option of drowsy or non-drowsy Tylenol in the same package! Often I actually don't mind cold medicine causing drowsiness, but during work hours it can be rather inconvienent. Excellent value getting both options in one purchase.

Excellent package
I usually prefer the liqui-gel formula for its faster action, but when I'm sick enough that I have to take medicine day and night, this package is my go-to. I'm sensitive to medicinal ingredients that act as mild stimulants, so the night formula is a blessing for me.

It's the only cold medicine that I've been able to take that truly works during the day and at night I absolutely love the fact that the one at night does help me sleep but I am not drowsy in the morning and during the day I do not feel any side effects

Love how well this product works. I was able to get a good night's rest despite both myself and my hubby being sick at the same time.

great if you have a cold/flu
Tylenol is really the product I'm going for when I have a cold/flu. It helps very fast and I can breathe much better especially at night. During the day, it helps also and I do not feel drowsy or anything.
