Uncle Lee's Organic Bamboo Original Tea
18 Tea Bags
Welcome to the world of Bamboo Teas! For hundreds of years bamboo leaves have been used in both Chinese and Ayurvedic medicinal teas. Not only is it a sustainable crop, it can be used to make a tea that's good for you! Bamboo leaves have some of the highest concentrations of vegetable silica, the mineral that makes bamboo grass grow strong, tall and flexible. Silica is great for maintaining hair and nail health. Bamboo leaf tea also contains 1 gram of soluble fiber per 8oz cup and is a good source of micronutrients and antioxidants.

The natural flavour of bamboo tea is sweet, complex and mildly grassy for a fresh, light tea! Uncle Lee's Bamboo Teas are certified organic and caffeine-free, unlike many other commercially harvested Bamboos. Organic means healthier for you, without all the modern toxic chemicals in the production process. Nothing has been added to the original flavour of bamboo leaves. You just enjoy the wonderful and natural essence that a bamboo leaf can bring you. Taste the difference of Uncle Lee's Tea!

Packaged in air-tight foil tea bags for guaranteed highest quality of freshness that you come to expect from Uncle Lee's. Certified Organic by QAI.

I'm loving this tea so far! I have a cup of it every night before bed it's so soothing! It's too soon to tell if it's having any significant effects on my hair, skin and nails so I endeavour to write another review at the end of the year to comment on that aspect.

This is the only website I could find bamboo leaf tea in Canada. I ordered it to help with hair growth. I've been consistently drinking it for five months and my hair dresser noticed it is significantly thicker and has grown without the breakage I usually experience. Pleasant taste. I enjoy the unflavoured bamboo leaf tea the most (but the flavoured teas are a nice change as well).

Good alternative to caffeinated teas. Light and satisfying.

Pleasant tea, just too mild - needs two bags for a mug (which is bigger than a tea cup but does work fine with a single bag of most teas), and then only has a light grassy flavour with a touch of mint. Nice, but not worth the $0.89 per mug, IMHO.

This is a great tasting, easy-drinking mild tea that brings a nice change from Green Tea. Lots of good benefits, without the caffeine and not as strong tasting.

This is a great tasting tea, so smooth and flavorful. I don't know what bamboo tastes like, but this seems to fit the bill.
I buy it all the time. Still waiting for the hair, but then, I don't believe in miracles! I'll just wait & see.

I first bought this for a friend who felt her hair and nails needed strengthening, but now we both enjoy it for its silky smooth taste.

I tried this on as a tester sent with my order. I like it. It tastes exactly what you would think bamboo tastes like. I like the after taste as well, and it feels as if it is cleansing the throat. I will order on a new purchase, for sure.

So far so good. I want to thicken my hair and have it grow longer, faster. I can see new shorter hair growing in. I've been drinking this tea for 5 months now.

As it states, it has a grassy flavour to it. It's my first time purchasing bamboo tea after hearing the benefits of hair and nail growth.
