The texture is a light lotion and the best thing is it has no smelly scent that some self-tanners have! It spreads easily and I can tell the tanning effect after the first use! Would recommend!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club to try and review. Sadly I am not one for tanning. I do not like the look of a tan on me at all, not even a fake tan. Alsa I had to try this out so I did some patch testing on my arms.
I applied a little to my inner arms and the next morning I had a nice dark mark where I applied it. It was slightly orange, but that is my skin and part of the reason I do not like self tanners. It was quite dark, but the second day faded to a nice shade. By the end of the week it was gone. I can see how using it ever Third day would be ideal for most people.
I do think it is a little dark for someone as pale as me (MAC NC15) and would think a lighter version would be better.
I had no reactions to this and like everything Vichy seemed to be great quality.
I would recommend this if you wanted to use a self tanner and had a medium skin tone. I bet it works great on the face.

Good product
I hadn't used a cream self-tanner in years because I fell in love with these wipes that have a quick and natural effect. However, the wipes were discontinued so I tried this product and liked it. Just make sure you massage it for a long time so that it applies evenly and wash your hands after use.

It works!
This stuff is great! My only suggestion is for anyone on the fairer side, don’t leave it on for too long. It will eventually turn you orange so don’t leave this on too long. I’d say 6-8 hours max.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of self tanner as I often find them high maintenance and finicky. This one is different however; I find it much more of a tinted moisturizer than a true self-tanner. It has a smooth texture and feels quite moisturizing on my skin; the scent is not one of a typical self tanner either - it's kind of a soapy fragrance but pleasant.
I can be quite fair so I didn't find this did too much on my legs and arms that already have some colour on them; the rest of me doesn't have much colour and it gave my skin a nice glow and a little bit of colour. If you're anything but of a fair to fair-medium complexion I don't think this would do much to your skin.
I did exfoliate prior to using this and didn't experience much for streaks or patchiness which was nice. I noticed it start wearing off around the 5 day mark which is typical for products like these.
Overall this is a nice product to have on hand and I'd definitely consider purchasing it again. Please note I received this product free from Chickadvisor in exchange for a review.
