Directions: Take only one dose (30 mL) per day (24 hours) see Warnings. Adults & Children 12 yrs & over: only use dose cup provided. Take 30 mL at bedtime if needed or as directed by a doctor. If persistent drowsiness is experienced with the 50 mg dose (30 mL), the dosage should be reduced to 25 mg (15 mL). Do not exceed recommended dose except on the advice of a physician. Children under 12 yrs: do not use.

Do not use: for children under 12 years of age; with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin; with NyQuil; with other drugs that cause drowsiness such as antihistamines and nighttime cold/flu products; if you are elderly, as this drug may cause excitation rather than sedation. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you: have a breathing problem such as asthma, emphysema, or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland, heart disease; are pregnant or breastfeeding; are presently taking a prescription drug or other medication; take sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product avoid alcoholic beverages. Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks. Insomnia may be a symptom of serious underlying medical illness. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
