Cleaning seals very impoertant!
Bought with my mug love it but after about a month started to notice a sour taste on my tea ….. after investigating noted the lower seal was hollow inside next to threads once I removed the seal noted a build up of tea with milk solid inside seal took off cleaned and all well now I clean the 3 seals inside n out regularly . Seals great and has now lasted 2 years !

hot shot cap lets some coffee out from the side
Hi,
I am a bit disappointed, it lets some coffee out from the side, not much but still. I have not tried the bottle straw cap yet.

Not easy to open/close
It's not easy easy to open and not easy to make sure its closed fully. It leak. I think this could be easily fixed if the handle? had more height. If it was a bit more substantial to get your fingers on I think it would be easier to really twist it shut.

Not spill proof
Bought this so I could have a no spill travel mug… but it keeps spilling. Tightened it as much as I could but my tea gets everywhere

Awful for pouring, fantastic for drinking.
Bought a Rambler with a hotshot lid two weeks ago to replace my 15 year old thermos that leaked. No leaks yet and is great when drinking directly from it, but is not designed for pouring into a mug at all. It doesn't just dribble; it pours down the side of the vessel and all over my desk at work. It serves its purpose, I guess, but I wish one side had a bit of a lip to avoid the spills.

What name works from
Disappointed
So disappointed in Yeti. Purchased the Rambler only to be told that we needed to purchase this lid for optimal performance. Purchased the lid and still have luke warm coffee.
