Unmatched Durability
This mug was run over by a 20-tonne loader while I was at work and the lid didn't crack. The side was a bit dented but was good as new after putting it in a bench vice and bending it back into shape. The paint is in pristine condition still, and it keeps drinks hot and beers cold. I'm a life long customer.

Holds a proper size cup of coffee
I love the size and style of this mug. I wanted a travel mug that could be used as a regular mug (without the lid) and this is amazing. I love that there aren’t any threads around the top because of the vacuum seal from the lid. I ordered the stainless steel one and have found that it gets marked kind of easily. A scratch appeared after just two uses that rusted. The company was super responsive when I messaged them and sent me a replacement as well as some helpful care tips. I do wash this mug by hand now just in case though (despite it being dishwasher friendly). Overall I am really happy with this mug and love that it can hold a proper size cup of coffee!

Does not retain heat for more than 30min
I bought this a month ago for a Xmas gift to my husband. Was very disappointed it didn’t retain the heat for more than 30 minutes. As soon as you pour the hot water in the mug, the outside of this mug feels warm to the touch like it’s losing heat retention. I have 2 other types of Yeti drink ware like the tumbler and rambler and they retain the heat for at least 2-4 hours. The outside of drinks are is also cool to the touch and not warm. I think this one I purchased must be a defect.

So cute and keeps my coffee hot!!
I am on to my 3rd Yeti. I love these mugs. For example, my coffee I made at about 8am this morning, I am still drinking it at noon, its still warm enough to drink. Anyone saying their coffee gets cold fast must have a terrible coffee maker and has half coffee half milk to cool it down.

Not what I expected.
Doesn't keep heat very long, I got this for my husband for use at home as he is notorious for reheating his coffee in the microwave at least 2 or 3 times before its done so I thought this would be sla good solution. It's no better than any cheapy travel mug you can get Just about anywhere.

Not just a coffee cup, but leaky lid
Xmas gift. Not just a beverage cup. Perfect size for my teen for making instant noodles for a quick lunch. The magslide lid is perfect for draining the hot water to avoid the hot water burns, but the lid does leak. Would be great if Yeti could design a leakproof lid for portability. Super great for keeping meals hot and other cup size lunch meals ie: chilli, ice cream, affogato (avoiding single use cups meals)

Does not keep coffee hot!!
I bought this mug a couple months ago and am very disappointed. It does not keep things hot like a yeti should. Within an hour of keeping this closed with a magslide lid my coffee is not warm to drink anymore. I emailed and have been told the size and width can make a difference but this is no better than a regular mug. I own the lowball mug and its fantastic but this mug is garbage.
