Surprisingly Impressive.
When these were first released and I got the email I was like “oh. Plastic. Huh.” about them because I don’t generally buy plastic for drink ware and put them out of my mind. Then, months later (yesterday!) I saw them in person in a store. They are soooooo nice in person! Super well made, definitely a high quality Yeti product. The plastic is so smooth it feels almost like it’s glass. I love that the cap is a chug-cap style like my rambler water bottles. It’s super light so I can see how it would be great for hiking, dog walking etc… when you don’t need to keep ice in it for days. Although I didn’t buy one for myself, my 2nd grader also fell in love with them and when she asked for one for school I said “of course!” Her backpack is already heavy enough to carry on a daily basis, it made sense to replace her Rambler Jr. with a bigger but way lighter Yonder.

Love this bottle!
Love this bottle! Lightweight, looks awesome in Canopy Green! Sturdy and solid design. Bought 2 to carry with my Hopper 12. They fit perfectly in the small Rambler sling.

What's The Point ??
I am overall a big fan of Yeti products HOWEVER, to me at least, this offering seems pointless. The primary attraction to Yeti products is the ability to keep drinks cold (or hot) for an extended period of time. I could get a plastic water bottle for a fraction of the cost of this bottle which would serve the same purpose. It seems that Yeti is trying to cash in on their brand image / reputation by offering this product.
