Aweful replacement for the old formula
I've been using Pantene's curl defining mousse for over 20 years and this new formula is GARBAGE! My hair is so heavy and stringy and can no longer stand up to the slightest bit of humidity.

Waste of money
This new mousse is TERRIBLE it leaves my hair feeling like straw and makes the curls stringy and frizzy. The old mousse made my curls soft and bouncy and held up for days. Pantene mousse was the only mousse that made my hair look amazing and I would always tell people what I use. I would NOT recommend this new mousse. Please bring back the old one. I've been using it since 2001

Pantene pro v new formula curly hair mousee
I have been a Pantene prov v curly hair mousee user for over 20 years and recommended the product to anyone who asked about my curls. The new formula is terrible and unusable. Hair is too fuzzy, too soft and way too bouncy. Sooo very dissatisfiedm. My sister, my daughter and I all agreed and we are in the hunt for a different replacement product with another company

New Formula Disappointment
I have been using Pantene mousse to style my hair for over 10 years. This new formula does not hold up to its predecessor. My hair is not nearly as shiny and is much frizzier with this new product. Please bring back the old formula.

Terrible new formula!!!
Why on earth would you change this product!?? This was the only mouse that actually worked for my curly hair. Now its like i put nothing in it and its super frizzy. So upset. Please Pantene, change it back pretty please!!

SO DISAPPOINTED WITH NEW FORMULA! :(
I have been using the Pantene curl mousse for YEARS as it was the only product I could find that would tame my curls nicely with the perfect hold. But recently I noticed the bottle looked different, and after one use I can assume the mousse must be a new formula because it does not work at all! I am so disappointed that Pantene would change a good thing. I guess I am on the hunt for a new product, as I won't be buying this again.

What research was conducted that indicated a change in formula for this mousse was needed???? I’ve been using the original curly mousse religiously for 20 yrs, it was my ride or die for ALL kinds of weather/humidi levels. 100% did the job. Always. The new mousse ….absolute JUNK!!!! After shaking, pours out as a pure liquid(not foam like previous), and thereby using more mousse. Ingenious strategy to make customers go through it faster and buy more, sigh. After applying TONS to all of my hair, it dries and is completely FRIZZY!!!! In zero humid weather. I walk through my day embarrassed with how my frizzy my hair looks instead of gorgeous defined locks. I have yet to see a review that is impressed with this new formula. Thanks for ruining my life after being a dedicated customer. Where are the facts published that this was a tested and proven better formula???

Nooooooooo ! What did you do ???
I had been using it for more than 20 years. Was the only product to work. Now it doesn't do anything. So disapointing. My hair look like a mess, I was so proud of my curls. Now I'm on the hunt for a replacment...
Please contact me when you go back to the old formula, because I won't see it since I won't be buying it anymore (and because you won't have a choice but to go back to the old formula, this one won't sell...)

Pantene let me down
I like many others have been a long time user of this product. They changed the formula and it sucks. It has led me to try other brands. The only one I found that even gets me close is Cake. However, it is 3x as expensive. Please Pantene, right this wrong and go back to the old formula. I would liken the current version of curl to whipped cream. It’s creamy but that’s all. It doesn’t tame frizz or lock in the curl.

Bring back the original formula please!!!
I can’t believe the difference between the original formula and this new one. It’s completely different! It doesn’t do anything for my curly hair. There is no frizz control at all - my hair is more frizzy with this product if that’s even possible! Please, please bring back tte original formula. It left my curls soft and shiny without any frizz. I can’t use this new product at all. Extremely disappointed.

New formula his terrible!!!!
I have been using this mouse for 20plus years and it was the only mouse on the market that I found that defined my curls without being stiff and drying them out. This new formula is nothing like the old. Makes my hair frizzy, does not define my curls and just leaves it a complete mess!!! Why mess with a formula that was so good!! Bring back the old one please!!!!

Horrible New Formula
They changed packaging and label and mousse composition - terrible results - leaves hair frizzy… I have been purchasing the Pro-V for curly hair for years and unfortunately you have now lost a loyal customer and many others that I referred to buy the Pro-V Curls mousse. Very unhappy .. go back to previous formulation and you will have your consumers happy again.

TERRIBLE NEW FORMULA!
I have been using this mousse for 20+ years and it was the best at controlling my curls. It made them shiny, defined and manageable. Now what the heck happened!?!? Why did you change the formula?? It’s horrible! It makes my hair dry and frizzy! Please change it back. I know Pantene said that the formula did not change but that cannot be the case.

VERY VERY UPSET with the new product
I have used Pantene Curl Defy Moose for more then 10 years. I have been stopped by many people who have asked what I used in my hair. Without a beat I would tell them. I picked up the new moose thinking it was just a bottle change and was so disappointed. No hold, no shape and lots of frizz. Please, please go back to the original formula.

Hate it now!
I've been using this mousse for years now for my curls. It was the only product that worked for my hair (including professional salon products). But it seems the "formula" was changed and it is totally useless for my hair now. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Totally hate it and will find something else from another company.

Terrible change
Pantene has changed the formula. I've been using Pantene for curly hair for years. Now they came out with soft curls shaping mousse, and it does not do absolutely nothing. I might as well not use this, my hair is so frizzy I hate it. They will lose me as a customer if they don't bring the old formula back.

Bring back old fornula
I miss the old formula… I have given the new one a chance for almost a year and I now concur I will have to look for a new brand. My hair was perfect with the old formula - this one my hair is limp and lifeless after one day. I could go 3-4 and it would look amazing. Sad you messed with a good thing.

Hate the new formula
Ingredients changed and it doesn't even remotely hold my curls together now. Feels like there's nothing in my hair and when it dries, my curls just go back to being poofy and frizzy. So disappointed, I've been buying this product for YEARS, guess I'll have to find another brand...

Worthless
This new product is nothing more than foaming water. Absolutely no hold and does nothing to beautify the hair. Why the change? Why not offer two different versions? I’ve used Pantene for 25+ years and have found nothing that comes close to the original formula.

Really disappointed
Have used Pantene mouse for my curls for over 20 years. This product was an extremely change. Please bring back the old curly mousse. This gives my no lift, no control, does not stand up to touch at all during the day. Poor change.

So bad

Works great without using much.
I love this mousse! I don't have overly curly hair, but I do have lots of body. This mousse controls my thick hair and brings out the waves in the back. I like that it's not too heavy, so it doesn't weigh down my hair. It just keeps everything in place and my hair out of my eyes. It does come out of the can thinner than most products of this type, but I was surprised that it almost doubles in size after it's sprayed into your palm. So you don't need much of it to do the job.
