Description

The The Ordinary 100% Organic Virgin Sea-Buckthorn Fruit Oil is a high-purity, sustainably-sourced, organic, virgin sea-buckthorn fruit oil derived from the pulp of the sea-buckthorn berry. This oil contains a high amount of rare palmitoleic acid (omega 7) for nourishing & protecting the skin. It also offers other fatty acids like palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid as well as antioxidants like tocopherol (Vitamin E). Its natural orange-red hue is due to the carotenoids, beta-carotene and lycopene. This oil contains moisturizing omega 3, 6, 7 & 9 fatty acids that help to maintain the skins overall normal barrier function.

Directions: Mix a few drops with other treatments in the palm of your hand and apply to the face, ideally at bedtime after application of water-based treatments. Wash hands after application and avoid product contact with fabric as it may stain.

It stains everything,even my hands, and rubs off on my pillow cover. It's completely useless and even if I were to use this only at night, one drop won't have any effects on my skin. Pointless product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unusable There’s a high end sea buckthorn oil I swear by and I thought I could swap it out with this one. Wish I read all the reviews. This is unusable. It’s dark red orange and no matter what you mix it with it stains and turns you into an Oompa Loompa. Into the trash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunate purchase This product may be great for the skin but it is orange and stains badly. There is a warning on the label but unless you don’t mind staining your bedding it’s to be avoided. I haven’t yet found a way to get the orange stains out of my pillow case.
