Face cream?
The cream is a little sticky and leaves my face tacky and oily. I would keep this for the body only. I really enjoy CeRave night cream so I was hoping it was the same consistency.. But this isn't it.

Perfect Daily Hydration!
I've been using this for a year now as a face moisturizer and let me tell you it has worked miracles. I've tried for years to try and find an affordable moisturizer that actually holds its hydration throughout the day and this is it. I have very dry flaky skin this is lightweight enough that I can wear it in the morning without looking like a grease ball.

The only moisturizer which works !
I have an eczema prone skin. The winters in Canada have been very harsh to my skin. I had brown dry patches,wrinkles on skin all over my body. I tried every single moisturizer on market..Aveeno,bodyshop,lush etc etc. Nothing helped me,,except this big white tup of cerave. tTruly amazing.Will highly recommend!

Amazing product!
I have been suffering from really bad excema around my eyes for about a year now. I had tried every product you could imagine, nothing helped. So my pharmacist suggested I try this so I decided to give it a shot and it cleared it up right away. I want to go out and buy all of these products. I am so happy!!!

Itchy skin
My husband purchased this cream for our son who had a terrible itchy rash due to amoxicillin. We tried everything to calm his itching skin and this cream helped a lot to relieve his itchy skin.

Great for the face but not the body?
I bought this product a few months ago and it works perfectly as a face moisturizer. It is the first time that my skin has felt NON greasy and moisturized at the same time (i have normal to dry skin when it comes to my face) However the rest of my body is more dry to very dry and I have eczema and it did not do ANYTHING for me ... is this cream only for the face?

I really want to try this but never pick it up because i feel like someone already used it and would just further cause me breakouts

A staple. Can't be without it.
This cream has been a no-fail fixture in my skincare routine going on 6 years now, after a nasty first experience with facial eczema forced me to rethink and relearn everything I knew about skincare. I've tried more expensive moisturizers and I always keep coming back to plain old Cerave cream. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and it never leaves my skin looking greasy, ruddy, or dehydrated. It almost seems to have a blanketing, calming effect on my fussy skin. No potentially irritating ingredients, just tried-and-true glycerin, petrolatum and ceramides, but with a subtle non-greasy matte effect that I don't know how they achieve without silica or other powdery additives. I buy it in bulk and it lasts me forever. So long as the formulation doesn't change, I'll forever repuchase this.

Raised Rash with medication side effect
CeraVe thank you! I hope this keeps working! I have Lupus and have had a side effect reaction to some medication that made my skin dermatitis type like rash all over my face and my butterfly rash is very pigmented. I have used this for only two days with noticing a large difference and the raised bumps are almost all gone, I’m so relieved. This was recommended by my Lupus doctor. Thank you for paying attention with care to sensitive skin and having a product in an affordable price range.

Works on the face - but on one condition...
On the face: It’s only effective if I apply it over a humectant lotion. Otherwise, this cream is super drying and chalky on my dry skin and it pills by the time I get into bed. It works better over wet skin straight after a shower. It’s very heavy and too occlusive for my liking so I only can wear it right before bed as a heavy mask.
Body: It’s fantastic on the body! It leaves my skin super supple and it’s great right after a shower to minimize trans-epidermal water loss!

Disappointed with new cream with modified ingredie
I have been using cetacean cream for a year now, but recently bought new cream and skin started to itch and burn after few hours, did not think anything of it and kept applying cream for 2 days. Then it occurred to me to check the ingredients and realized that most important ingredients are lower on the list. Very disappointed. Now I have to go on trying new brands to figure which one is best so that I can have better skin. Such a shame though.

Very hydrating but...
This is one of the most hydrating moisturizers I have used. I started using this a year ago and noticed an instant boost in the moisture of my skin. However, there is one ingredient contained in this moisturizer that may promote Malassezia and that is glycerin. I noticed that my T zone area has produced small bumps which I have always had but I feel like this cream cant help with that and may affect it even more because of this one ingredient.

Incredible!
This completely fixed my dry skin! I have extremely sensitive skin and eczema and it’s the first time a cream hasn’t cause irritation. I use it right after every time I shower and it’s completely repaired my skin’s moisture barrier, now my skin doesn’t get dry like it used to. Feels so supple and soft! I can’t believe how well this stuff works and it’s a huge tub for the price. I feel like I’ll be using this stuff for life! Thanks Cerave!

OMG!!!!
So very happy I decided to try your moisturizing cream for my hands!! I am a dog groomer and in the winter the shampoos and dryers wreck havoc on my hands and arms. On a whim from an ad on TV which I never believe, by the way, I purchased a jar. I am so glad I did. This cream hydrates and protects like no other. I feel human again and not a reptile. Thank you CeraVe for this cream!! My husband now uses it every morning as well..

This cream is terrible.
I bought this for over my CeraVe moisturizing lotion which I love and have used exclusively for years. The cream cakes over top of the moisturizing lotion and when I apply makeup it rolls into chunks!
I am so disappointed, I thought it would be a good addition to the lotion and it is awful.

Perfect Product
I have been using this cream for my hands and body for about a year now on the recommendation of a dermatologist, and I have experienced excellent results. The cream initially feels heavy during application, but it very quickly absorbs without feeling greasy. I also love that it is fragrance-free like all CeraVe products, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. My dry patches have disappeared and my skin looks more even.

Great help for us from a tropic country.
I really looked for this product soon I arrived in Canada this December because I knew this is what my skin will be needing this Winter. Before I left our country, I already read the review of Moisturizing lotion and it never failed to meet my expectation. I love its effect in my skin, so smooth and non-greasy. I definitely recommend this product to all who have dry and sensitive skin.

Great for sensitive skin
Excellent cream for winter skin...I have not used it yet in the summer time as I just started useing ceraVe in September. My skin has become sensitive and I have trouble finding products that are not going to irritate my skin. I use it right out of the shower on towel dry skin and it absorbs fazt and leaves my skin feeling smooth. My pjs are not stuck to me after I put the cream on

Great feel-bad smell!
I love Cerave products, I use a variety of them. I love the thickness and feel of this cream, however after getting around halfway through the container it now seems to have a bad smell. I really don’t want throw the remainder away but I don’t really have a choice with the smell it leaves. Not sure if I’ll purchase again which is unfortunate because I really did love it.

Terrible smell
I have been using this for years. This is my first jar that has a strange smell, almost like fish once applied to the skin. The jar is not expired, it’s stored at room temp at my home. Not sure how it was stored prior, but I’ve never experienced this before and it’s a bummer because it costs a lot, so I feel obligated to continue to use it despite the smell.

The only product that ever really worked
I had extremely dry skin for decades. Tried every product on the market and this is the only one to resolve my issue. Didn’t find it until after I developed an infection because of the compromise to the skin barrier from dryness and wish I found it earlier. Change is immediate & long lasting. No more “skin dandruff”, itching, or complications. AMAZING.

Great product!
Please review these comments and take them seriously. A protective plastic on the jar shouldn’t have to be requested. With the risk of people putting their dirty fingers in this is enough to make people not buy it. With Covid now a reality, please seal your product and protect your customers. Don’t let this become the “Tylenol” packaging of the 80’s-90’s.

Wonderful for face and body
I have been using this cream for years on my face and body and it works wonders. From the other reviews it appears that the tub with a pump is appreciated by those who don't want to dip their fingers into the product. Perhaps a large tube would be better. I prefer that myself and think other users may appreciate that as well. Thank you for CeraVe cream!
