In addition, with three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, it helps restore the protective barrier, retain hydration and helps calm skin. With continuous use, this lightweight yet moisturizing serum helps even skin tone and texture, allows skin to look refined with a healthy appearance. MVE technology ensures efficient delivery within the skin’s barrier with a slow-release over time. Supporting your protective skin barrier, long after you’ve finished applying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CerVe Resurfacing Serum I was very worried about using retinol on my very sensitive skin. This is a good beginners serum. I had no issues, but I followed a very slow start: patch test, then use only on top of a moisturizer a few days a week, then use before moisturizer a few days a week, then every night before moisturizer. Very little irritation. I worked it in to make sure it is absorbed before applying moisturizer. I applied a basic moisturizer without active ingredients. This works well and I continue to use it. I see results but as expected it slow and steady. Retinol use is a very long term treatment and has to be understood as slow acting. I would recommend this formula but the only thing I would have wished for is to know the percentage of retinol in the formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious improvement already I have only used this for a week and want to cry I’m so happy with how much it’s helped already!! I have keratosis pilaris and rosacea and never thought I’d find anything that helped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Retinol Serum I like this serum and it is recommended by a dermatologist I like. It'd be great if CeraVe made a larger size of this product, because I dislike any type of over-packaging for a small amount of product. I purchased another.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comedogenic alert! - isopropyl myristate I used this product consistently, hoping it would help fade my acne marks, especially since it was labeled as non-comedogenic. However, instead of improving, my acne kept coming back. Curious about the cause, I decided to check the ingredients and discovered it contains Isopropyl Myristate, which is a known comedogenic ingredient. It turned out to be the culprit that was aggravating my skin. Once I stopped using the product, my acne gradually subsided. This experience taught me an important lesson—if you have sensitive, acne-prone skin, always research ingredients carefully. Don’t just rely on labels or claims, even if a product is marketed as non-comedogenic. Your skin’s health is worth the extra effort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made me breakout & skin peel I’m so sad about this product. At first I loved it, made my face bright didn’t feel like it was too heavy or caked up on my face. As days progressed acne appeared on my face, it looks like I broke out in hives, face feels super rough now and skin is peeled. Followed directions and used sunscreen as well. Decided to stop using this as my face now itches, very small but large amounts of acne spots on cheeks :( if you have sensitive-ish skin I would not buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, unscented & doesn't make my skin break out! Finally a moisturizer that is light (yet moisturizing) on my face that doesn't have a strong smell. And - haven't had any facial breakouts yet (after a few weeks of using). I'm very happy with this product!
