In laboratory testing, First Response™ detected the pregnancy hormone levels in 76% of pregnant women 5 days before their expected period, in 96% of pregnant women 4 days before their expected period, in >99% of pregnant women 3 days before their expected period, in >99% of pregnant women 2 days before their expected period, in >99% of pregnant women 1 day before their expected period, and in >99% of pregnant women on the day of their expected period.

UNRELIABLE!!!!
Just bought this a few days ago, to test 3 days before my expected period. Took the test and got a faint positive. Waited a day and took the second test, got another faint positive. On the 3rd day I had a blood test scheduled, came out negative. For the community of ladies ttc, this test is the BIGGEST disappointment!!! Take this off the shelves! Reading through reviews on ALL sites, for the past couple months, EVERYBODY has been having the same issue. Seems like unless you get 2 extremely dark lines, then you’re definitely not pregnant. So for the few of us looking for any little sign and hope to confirm, definitely don’t rely on First Response to reassure you. This test is straight trash and I will definitely get genetic brands or Clear Blue before ever purchasing this. Ladies!!! Listen to the reviews and do not waste your money or get your hopes up.

False Positives!!!
I have bought more than 10 boxes of these over the last couple months and every single test comes back faint pink positive line. I then have had my HCG levels tested SAME DAY and those have all came back 0. These are expensive and after reading many many reviews stating they have also gotten multiple false positives, I will never buy from First Response again. They need to take these off the shelves and refund people their money.

False positives!!!
I took a test today and instantly came this faint pink line. After 4 years of trying to concieve and two losses I was convinced it was real. I went and spent another $50 on tests to confirm only to get negatives! My beta hcg bloodwork was less than 1. I am not pregnant and am so broken now. My heart really believed I was pregnant. You need to get rid of these tests, they are awful and breaking woman’s hearts!!!!! So angry!!!

False positives
I received a clearly faint positive result on 5 early result tests within the time frame, followed by a negative test. Took another brand and a digital test only to find out I am not pregnant. Reading the reviews I see this is an overarching issue and the fact that first response hasn’t pulled these tests is disgraceful. I spent so much money on tests and was so hopeful only to be completely crushed.

Second time buying does not show results
This is the second time I’ve boughten the early results 6 day sooner tests 2 pack and both times now they have not shown any results. I was hoping last time was a fluke but I just bought the same tests and it’s doing the same thing. I’ve used them as per instructions and no lines indicating yes or no. Not impressed, will not buy again as this was a waste of my money.

Won’t be buying again.
I won’t be buying these again unless I already 100% know I am pregnant. The indents on these tests have been absolutely ridiculous. To take this test, see a solid “positive” only to then be disappointed when your period comes because it was a horrible indent line is so taxing on someone who is trying to conceive. Especially after a loss. Truly unbelievable.

I will never buy this brand again
I got a positive test and was ecstatic that I was pregnant after trying to conceive for almost a year. Unfortunately I’m not pregnant and completely devastated. The false positives with this brand are apparently a common problem that needs to be fixed. The emotional toll on people’s hopes and dreams is unacceptable. I will never purchase this brand again.

False Positive
Feeling devastated as this test gave me 2 lines and then I took a test with a different brand and it came up negative. I felt so excited. This has happened to me on two different occasions now with this particular FR test. I am beyond sad. How has this not been recalled or taken off shelves if these issues are consistently happening?

Disappointed
I’ve purchased this product twice in the past 4 months, the 6days sooner digital with two tests inside. And both times I’ve had faulty tests. Either the clock doesn’t show up or it doesn’t stop flashing or it doesn’t even start flashing. It is super frustrating when your excited to finally be able to test and this happens.

False Positive
Like several others on here, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for going on 2 years. I was BEYOND ecstatic when a like appeared on my test. However, unfortunately, it was just a defect in the test. I spent a lot of money buying more tests to see if I really was pregnant, but, I was not. I was so heartbroken.

This test worked great when I was testing to find out i was pregnant with my daughter. I even had an expired one that showed the same result (not advised to use expired tests, I did at first because it was the one I had on hand) They are alright for price. Customer service is great if you have a faulty test as well.

Indent line gives false positives
I can’t believe this is still on the market after all of these negative reviews. False positives give false hope to those desperately wanting a baby and stoke unnecessary fear and stress for those who don’t. I never had this issue with first response tests when I was trying to conceive 8 years ago

They worked very well but we actually had a faint line show up on one of the tests which made us think we were pregnant and made us kinda sad when the next one had nothing so I don’t know if it was the urine or faulty but we have usually always used the cheap brands they all work the same I think

Each time.i have used these they were very accurate! I would count back and sure enough yep that's the day it happened lol Very trusted brand overall and from personal experience this is very accurate, fast and easy to use! If I am ever concerned again this will be my first purchase ;)

Disappointed: Digital
Both these recently the three pack.
FRER of course had an ident, and the rapid worked fine.
But super dissatisfied that the digital didn’t work from the beginning and it now just showing a question mark. These tests are super expensive and it sucks basically throwing away money.

These definitely aren't cheap tests, but no pregnancy tests are nowadays. I've heard good things with this test by friends though. Unfortunately for me I've never had a positive test (health issues), but I can't blame the test. For my friends though it was very accurate.

Out of 30+ test only 4 didn’t have the indent line within the 3 mins. It showed up immediately and give false hope. I went and had a blood test completed and my HCG was 0. This is by far the worst test you can take when TTC. I’m so done with them. WARNING!! Do NOT BUY!!!

False positive on digital test
Got a YES+ on digital test (test taken after I had what I thought was a period, but I was just double checking) therefore it wasn’t an early chemical etc. Went to get bloodwork and my HCG was 0. For someone who’s been trying to conceive for 2+ years this was the WORST!

This test is reliable and can help you when you need some news. It is easy to apply and effective it detects BHCG hormone 6 days before your next period is suppose to be present. It is affordable and i would recommend it to anyone. There is no improvements needed.

These test are horrible!
Same thing happened to me just like all the other reviewers FALSE POSITIVES. Totally sucks when your thinking your pregnant bc of that false faint pink line. This has never happened to me and we are baby #4. Pull these test First Response, I am very hurt by this.

I would not buy these and I would listen to all of the negative reviews. I definitely had two faint positives and the next day all of my other tests were negative. They have horrible indent lines and are not great for your mental health when trying to conceive.

I preciously would always purchase this brand as my tried and true, but over the past few months having been ttc, I’ve gotten so many evaporation lines! This is so upsetting, especially after experiencing a loss recently. I will no longer purchase this brand!

I’ve only had to use one of these once luckily đđź but I chose to use first response and I’m glad I did. It let me know within minutes that it was a false alarm and I waited and took another one a month later and still not pregnant and they were right đđť

False Positive On Multiple Tests
Over the last 3 days, I've received numerous false positives causing me to spend unnecessary money on more tests and completely shattered my heart. I can't help to think this is done on purpose for First Response to make more money. How is this happening???

Let's you test the earliest possible and still get reasonably accurate results. Classic 2 pink lines test sobtheyre is a marin of error if you test too early or not using FMU (first morning urine) so potential for false positives due to extra faint line.

This test is awesome. It’s reliable and easy to tell the results of your test. It did take a while for my test to show up positive. The other brand with the screen tells you how baby weeks you are. This brand took 6 weeks to say I was actually positive.

Horrible Product
I took this test, and it was positive. It had a very faint pink line. I also followed directions exactly. Took two more of a different brand, both were negative, I was terrified so I went to the doctors and got a urine test and blood test. Both negative

DO NOT BUY -FALSE POSITIVES
We have been trying for over 4 years. With 2 losses. These early detection tests have given me 3 false positives in the last 3 weeks. These should 100% be pulled from the shelves. This is completely unacceptable, especially for this brand.

Convincing false positive
I’ve been trying to conceive for 3 months and all three months I’ve gotten 2 pink lines without having to squint and all have been false positives. Even the app picked it up as being pregnant. Every other type of pregnancy test was negative.
