Animal Parade Kid Zinc tablets provide 8 mg of organically chelated zinc: elemental zinc from zinc aspartate and zinc monomethionine. DIRECTIONS: Children 4 years of age and older: one animal-shaped tablet daily or as recommended by your health care practitioner. Allow to dissolve slowly in the mouth. Take a few hours before or after taking any other medications. Be sure to take with food, which is easier on the tummy.
WARNING: If seal around cap is broken or missing, do not use. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, an iron deficiency, a liver disorder, if you are pregnant or breast feeding, or if you are taking antiplatelet medication or blood thinners. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If you have an immune-compromised condition do not use this product. Allergic reactions can occur in people allergic to plants of the Oleaceae family. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.

Not kid friendly
It has an awful, lingering after taste. I tasted it myself as I was curious why my kids would run away when it's time for them to take it. At first it tastes like a normal kid's vitamins but overtime it's like I ate a rusty metal and it lingered, I have to gulp a juice for it to go away.

We Like Animal Parade, But Not These
The flavour is way too strong and lingers for a long time in your mouth...not in a pleasant way. My kids will eat them, but don't really like to. I love other Animal Parade products and I loved that these were kid friendly, but I will choose a different brand of zinc next time.

Awful taste
My kid kept spitting out the lozanges and asking me to rinse her mouth so I gave it a try and they're awful... the flavour is very strong, like chalky ginger.

Does not have copper
The product does not have copper as indicated in the detail of the ingredients. Well.ca do not return the shipping cost, although the error is from them.
