How to Ride a Kids Scooter

• Gear up first: Always wear a helmet. Knee and elbow pads are recommended, especially for new riders.
• Adjust the scooter: Set the handlebar height so it sits around waist to belly-button level. Make sure all locks are secure.
• Get on safely: Place one foot on the scooter deck (or sit on the seat if it’s attached). Hold the handlebars firmly using the anti-slip grips.
• Push and glide: Use the other foot to gently push off the ground. Once moving, place both hands on the handlebars and keep your eyes forward.
• Steering and balance: Steer by gently turning the handlebars or leaning slightly in the direction you want to go. Start slow and practice balance.
• Stopping: Slow down by placing one foot on the ground or using the brake if the scooter has one. Come to a complete stop before stepping off.
