There are 1 star reviews and 5 star. You need to know what you’re doing and what you want in a clean makeup remover. I want: pure/no chemicals or preservatives, doesn’t irritate, removes makeup. This did all that. You need to WASH your face though, you can’t just take a cotton pad and start taking your makeup off with this. Wash your face thoroughly then use this to get your eye makeup off and anything around the edges of your face. Yes it’ll take more effort than conventional chemical removers, but that’s precisely why you’re buying this right? I’m on my 5th bottle, lasts me 4 months!

Too Harsh
I got this to help remove my makeup and loved that it was more natural. Unfortunately it irritated my skin, especially around my eyes! I also found it didn’t remove my light makeup (powder foundation and light mascara). If you have sensitive skin be careful

Gentle but works great!
The best make-up remover I've ever used. I'm genuinely confused about the low reviews and complaints that this is harsh. I have very delicate skin and I've never had any issue with this remover. It doesn't sting my eyes AT ALL and is very effective. I use the Wildcraft oil cleanser and that takes off most of my makeup, but this product is great for more stubborn eye makeup.
Also! Great for kids to use when they have stubborn face paint/Hallowe'en makeup, etc. Gentle but effective.

The only natural and effective makeup remover I’ve found
This isn’t your conventional makeup remover… it doesn’t have the chemical power to remove your entire face of makeup in one swipe. However, it is effective after you quickly cleanse your face and then use the remover. I find it hydrates and cleanses my face instead of drying it out like many makeup removers do. I’d rather take an extra 30 seconds to wipe my makeup off than cake on the chemicals to remove my makeup… I don’t know about you

Does the work!
It definitely cleans the skin from the makeup,leaving it hydrated and fresh. The only issue is the waterproof mascara, but it's very hard to remove it with natural products anyways, so I just add a bit of other product to remove it completely.
