I purchased the conditioner and shampoo, but I wish I had listened to some of the negative reviews. The shampoo left residue, but might be ok for you daily hair washers in the crowd. The conditioner failed to de-tangle or hydrate my long hair. I primarily use natural hair products so I have not been 'conditioned' by synthetic smoothers and silicones, but this product is the worst I have ever tried. The smell, on the other hand, is divine. I would never re-purchase this product and will be tossing out the bottles after only one use!

I adore this scent and I really think Alaffia products are commendable for being ethical and ecological. I love that the list of ingredients is short and I recognize what I'm putting on my body. The conditioner I am giving a 4 rather than a 5 probably because I am biased from years of chemical-laden conditioners that leave your hair slippery to the touch after use. This conditioner doesn't leave my wet hair feeling the same way others do, but that's not necessarily a bad thing! It isn't like I have tangles or that my hair doesn't feel soft once it's dry, it's just that familiar feeling of slipperiness that I associate with conditioners that isn't present. I will still keep buying this product because I suspect that "slipperiness" is due to less-than-savoury ingredients in other products.

Good conditioner. I read the reviews before buying this and read that another person uses it as a leave in and decided to try it the same way and it works great! I find that it's one of the best natural conditioners I've used. It doesn't soften to quite the same degree as chemical filled conditioners, but it makes my hair nice and soft.

I don't use shampoo. I use a fairly large amount of this fabulous smelling condiitoner and work it in well, leaving it on as long as I can. Oil actually breaks down the oil on your hair leaving it clean but not stripped. Then I rinse it out and I am good to go. For the price I haven't found a better conditioner with such a good ingredient list.
