Alterra Cholester-Aid

Helps lower blood total and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol. Helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Helps in energy metabolism/(and) tissue formation. Helps to maintain and/or support cardiovascular health. Hepatoprotectant/liver protectant.

Recommended Dosage: Adult: Take 2 capsules 3 times a day with food.

Recommended Duration of Use: For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care professional. Use a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects.

Caution: Consult a health care professional prior to use if you are taking blood pressure medication. Consult a health care professional prior to use if you have a history of myalgia. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a health care professional. Consult a health care professional prior to use if you have gallstones. If you are taking medications, particularly hydroxymethylglutaryl (HMG) CoA reductase lipid-lowering drugs (statins), cyclosporine, anti-diabetic and/or anti-platelet drugs (such as acetylsalicylic acid), or if you suffer from liver or kidney disease or have received an organ transplant, consult a health care professional prior to use. Consult a health care professional prior to use if you're breastfeeding.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Do not use this product if you have a bile duct obstruction. Do not use if you are pregnant or if you plan to become pregnant. For adult use only. Do not use if you are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.

KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: May cause dizziness, low appetite, nausea, stomach-ache, abdominal distension, or diarrhea. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. If you experience muscle pain, tenderness and/or weakness, or if new symptoms develop, discontinue use and consult a health care professional.
