Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Happy With It I've been using this for about a week and really like it. As the instructions say, do not get the packaging wet. Always make sure your hands are dry (or almost dry) when you handle it. Instead of putting it directly on my face I find putting it on my hand works better. I wet my face with water with my right hand, dry my hand then use it to put the cleanser on the palm of my left hand. I then wet my right hand again and rub my hands together to get a good lather then put that on my face. Maybe it's because I have hard water, but I find this works much better than putting it directly on my face. Also, I tend to have dry skin and this does not dry it out. I will buy the larger one when this one runs out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet cardboard is a terrible idea The actual product is a small disc of soap that sits in a cardboard tube. You’re expected to dry apply the soap to skin and then rinse with water. Otherwise, wetting the face and applying the cleansing stick makes the tube wet, the soap wet, or the soap fall out. Goofy design. Bought for carry on travel/hotel to reduce liquids and will go back to searching for a good solid cleanser.

Love the smaller format, I can take it anywhere with my when travelling. Some people seem to have trouble with the packaging, I have found as long as you are a bit careful about not getting the package too wet it works fine and holds up a long time + once you are done the packaging can be thrown in compost!

This cleanser is mild enough to not irritate my skin, but still cleans it well! It feels good! And the format is perfect for travel. It's best to avoid wetting the package, but I have ketp it in the shower and even though it was a bit wet, it still worked perfectly!
