Sunscreen for sunny days

I always like Aveeno products as they are gentle on skin and are less chemicals but its first time I choose their sunscreen and I really like it. Its gentle on the skin and has moisturizer which make my skin softer. I love the product and my daughter too like it so its one product for all us in the family.

Great Quality SPF

Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Face Sunscreen with SPF 50 is definitely the kind of sunscreen I have been looking for. It is light weight and not at all greasy after being applied, and it feels very pleasant on the skin. It is noticeably hydrating and a little goes a long way. The fact that it has an SPF of 50 is a definite advantage compared to the face lotions on the market with the usual 30. I saw that my skin was well protected from the sunshine, and did not have to worry about whether it was being harmed by the UV light, as it is a great quality lotion that does exactly what it is designed to do. I am totally recommending this product to everyone my, as I just know that they will appreciate it as much as I do.

The Aveeno PROTECT + HYDRATE Face Sunscreen SPF 50 gives you broad spectrum protection while keeping your face moisturized. It is water resistant (80 mins) and has a oxybenzone free formula.
The Aveeno PROTECT + HYDRATE Face Sunscreen SPF 50 kept my face moisturized even though I didn't apply any moisturizer before using it. It did not leave any white cast and the sunscreen absorbed readily. It did not break me out and I didn't feel oily either. I like that you can use this sunscreen for the entire family and it is also suitable for infants over 6 months of age.
I would definitely purchase this again and recommend it.

A Pleasant and Easy to Rub in Facial Sunscreen
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was pleasantly surprised with the Aveeno® PROTECT + HYDRATE® Face Sunscreen SPF 50. There are a number of things I was hoping it would and would not do.
The main hope I had for this sunscreen was that it did not produce that greasy sheen that many facial sunscreens do. This sunscreen did not produce an oil slick at any point, even though it was very hydrating. I found it very easy to apply without any pulling or difficulty rubbing in. While this sunscreen did not smell pleasant initially and does have somewhat of a sunscreen odour, it was not overwhelming and did dissipate after a while. It also did not give that horrible 'I just put sunscreen on my face' feeling that I so hate. The one that I just cannot wait to wash off once I get inside. Overall, this is a facial sunscreen that I will purchase again.

Nice application but burns eyes
I love the way this product applies smoothly, and doesn't leave a white film like a lot of higher SPF sunscreens. I'm acne prone but haven't noticed any breakouts since starting this.
I deducted stars because if it goes anywhere near my eyes (I'm talking even just above my cheekbones) it makes my eyes water and burn like crazy.

Very gentle and works well
This is a lovely face sunscreen. It's gentle and goes on very well. Absorbs quickly and no white residue. I appreciate the oat ingredient in it since, like all Aveeno products, it calms your skin. I alternate between this and the Ombrelle anti-shine face sunscreen. Highly recommend!

Another Aveeno investment I probably won't use,.
I purchased Aveeno Protect and Sooth Face Sunscreen because I wanted a sunscreen product that didn't appear greasy on my face. I was not happy. It clumped and felt rubbery with sn unclean feeling and appearance.

Great face sunscreen
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was impressed with Aveeno's Protect + Hydrate face sunscreen. I love that it absorbed very quickly and didn't make my face feel greasy after I put it on. The product also didn't clog my pores, as I didn't see any 'new' blackheads after use. The sunscreen really works, I work outdoors and I burn easy. This product protected my skin and lips from burning, which was awesome. The sunscreen is a 50 SPF and it is supposed to be water resistant for up to 80 minutes. While I didn't test it out in a pool, I would say it is sweat-resistant for a long period of time!
Other pro's to the product is that it isn't scented, is oxybenzone free, and provides UVA/UVB protection.
Aveeno's sunscreen is also supposed to help keep your skin hydrated in addition to the sunscreen, and while I can't confirm that it actually does, I know my skin never felt dry or tight after using the sunscreen, so I suspect it does help. I was impressed with Aveeno's face sunscreen and will purchase it in the future.

Two products in one, great for everyday use

I tried the Aveeno Protect + Hydrate face moisturizing sunscreen in lieu of my regular full body sunscreen and moisturizer with sunscreen. I found that the Aveeno sunscreen blended and absorbed well into skin while protecting it from days with strong sun, and left my face feeling soft and hydrated at the end of the day.
I did find that this sunscreen is a bit thick and made my skin look a little bit shiner than I would have liked. I also found that when I was sweating a lot, this product tended to make my face feel extra thick and drippy. So this may not be the best product for a high intensity work out in the sun.
Some features that I really like are that it doesn't have a scent, which is nice because it's covering such a sensitive area. I also like that it eliminates the need for me to moisturize and then apply sunscreen, saving me time and allowing me to moisturize on the go.
That being said, I think this is a great product for anyone looking for good for everyday protection from UV rays and for keeping skin soft and moisturized.

Perfect SPF 50 Sunscreen!

It's non-greasy, Oxybenzone free and great for those with sensitive skin. I find that a lot of other sunscreens have too much fragrance and clog pores, causing breakouts. Many are greasy and leave your skin shiny with oil. Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Moisturizing SPF 50 Sunscreen has a very light tropical scent and is weightless.. It's easy to apply,, blending into your skin immediately and leaving no white residue. Makeup can easily be worn over once applied. My first time trying this sunscreen, I immediately applied after showering the morning and my skin felt instantly hydrated! I was out in the sun most of the day and I reapplied every 2 hours, as directed. It's great for adults and children over 6 months of age. . The directions state that it is water and sweat resistant for 80 minutes however, I cannot comment on its effectiveness if you are very active, sweating or in the water. For me, just sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather, this sunscreen was the perfect broad spectrum UVA-UVB sun protection and exactly what my i needed for peace of mind in the sunshine! I will most definitely recommend and will purchase again!

Good product and a little goes a long way

Recently I've been putting more thought and effort into protecting my skin from burning and it was great timing to be able to try Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Face moisturizing sunscreen. With SPF 50 you're definitely protecting you skin from UVA/UVB rays. Its also moisturizing, though, and not drying out your skin. It's water resistant for 80 mins which is amazing with the swimming I like to do in the summer. The first thing I noticed when I opened the product is the consistency of it - much thinner than my usual body sunscreen. That caught me a bit off guard as it came out faster than expected, not only because of consistency but because the bottle stands on the cap and gravity then is encouraging it towards the opening. I personally would have preferred it come in a pump bottle like many facial lotions of the same consistency come in but bottle isn't a deal breaker. The sunscreen went on easily (a little goes a long way) and soaked in quickly. It is invisible - I'm Caucasian but it says it's invisible on all skin types. I went outside on a high UV index afternoon for about 2 hours without reapplying and there were no signs of burning. I'd recommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their skin and is looking for a face specific sunscreen.
