Not only does this sunscreen offer UVA/UVB protection, it's also water resistant for up to 80 minutes, making it perfect for play. Although our sun cream is reef-friendly, it's not just for the beach. The lightweight, non-greasy feel makes it ideal for everyday use as well. Protect family fun with the full collection of Banana Boat Mineral Sunscreens. We offer lotions and mineral enriched sunscreen spray in a variety of formulas including Sport, Baby and Sensitive.

Directions: Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. For use on children less than 6 months of age, consult a health care practitioner. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.

Warning: For external use only. Do not use on broken skin. If rash occurs, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. When using this product avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away. May stain certain surfaces and fabrics. Do not use if security seal is broken or missing.

It also didn’t have any added essential oils like many mineral sunscreens, which seemed to cause sensitivity for some of us.

I really like this sunscreen; it dries really fast, and it's waterproof, lasts a really long time before you have to keep applying it. When the sunscreen is applied, it stays put, meaning it will not rub off into the kids eyes. Best part is a little goes a long which makes the bottle last the full summer, which is amazing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mineral sunscreen protection Completely excellent product. I used to use Coppertone's Pure and Simple but now it is almost impossible to find in Canada. This Banana Boat version is pretty close (less percentage of zinc oxide). The major complaint I see in reviews is it comes out too fast - so did Coppertone's but their bottle design could be stored on both ends. Banana Boat's has the opening at the end that it stands on - so as soon as you open it, it comes out. Not too hard to learn to open it carefully. It's what's inside that's important - it goes on a bit white but easily rubs in. It is mineral protection - in our changing hotter North American climates this is the product we need to protect our skin. I say use the tube carefully and you can control the flow. Little kids shoulders and backs, noses and cheeks? They deserve a future without skin sun damage. I have aging skin and a good mineral sunscreen can literally be a life saver. This sunscreen is the protective layer you and your family needs.

Guess what banana boat helped my daughter get for her birthday and terrible sun burn also may self and her two siblings are burnt. Even after re applying 4 times in a 4 hour window. I finally borrowed a diffrent brand from somebody else.
