The BENYLIN Sore Throat Lozenge works fast. It has a unique dual-layer formulation that instantly soothe your throat, and provides up to two hours of targeted pain relief. Available in great-tasting cool mint flavour.
Features:
Directions: Adults, adolescents and children 6 years and older: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth. May be repeated every 2 hours as needed. Do not bite, chew or swallow whole. Do not exceed 6 lozenges in 24 hours.
Medicinal Ingredients: Each lozenge contains 8 mg of benzocaine.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Acesulfame-potassium, flavour, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, polyethylene glycol 400, polyethylene glycol 6000, polysorbate 80, sucralose, titanium dioxide, xanthan gum.

Caution: Do not use if allergic to any product ingredients. Allergy alert: Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Consult a doctor if sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, is accompanied by or followed by symptoms such as fever, headache, rash, swelling, nausea or vomiting, or if any other new symptoms occur. Due to local anaesthetic action of benzocaine, avoid eating/drinking directly after taking lozenge. Use with caution in individuals with aspiration and swallowing problems. Children under 12 years of age should be supervised by an adult in the use of the product. Talk to a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose get medical help or contact Poison Control Centre.

Not bad
For severe sore throats it suppresses but does not completely suppress the pain, and for less severe sore throats it mostly temporarily suppressed the pain.
Two complaints:
1: for some reason, it makes the mouth feel numb, with a tingling sensation
2: the opening mechanism sucks. It’s odd to get a hang of and you have to press the side panel fairly hard while using your thumb nail to bring the top up, and the small plastic bit connecting the top to the lid seems flimsy and easily breakable.
Might also want to reconsider the shape of the lozenge, maybe a ball instead of an oval? (To better fit the opening)

Works really well, packaging is finicky.
I went looking for a product for my sore throat that wasn't loaded with sugar and found these. Getting the container open is very difficult at first but it gets easier with use. Unfortunately it's so difficult for me that I have to have someone else open it which isn't possible all the time.
The lozenge itself works great. The flavour is minty but not too strong and the numbing action provides great relief from my sore throats. I'm actually on my fourth package now I love them that much. I'm really impressed that they aren't loaded with sugar and that they don't taste medicinal.

Good product no longer available
This product was very helpful to quickly releive throat pain. Why is it no longer available? Do you have a similar product as a replacement?

Work but taste bad
The taste is not that great ,maybe you should try to get other flavors so that people who don't like mint can have other choices. Personally I'd prefer cherry flavor.

Expensive breath mint
Super disappointed! I bought a pack just this week after seeing an ad on IG and that’s what I get for falling for advertising... Slight cooling effect but did nothing to numb or soothe my sore throat. Basically a breath mint in a fancy dispenser.
