Best Mascara, WORST Wand!
This is hands down the best mascara I think I've ever used (I have tried every Benefit mascara, most of the standard drugstore brands, and most recently was using Glossier lash slick regularly). So much lift! So much separation! My lashes look so full, and there is no smudging or flaking - even after wearing all day, even in the heat of summer, even in a light rain once. (Worth noting that I do only use mascara on my top lashes.)
HOWEVER, the brush is an absolute nightmare. I love the product itself so much that I have found a way to make it work, but it is definitely still frustrating at times. I just kinda use the back/top curve of the brush (the inexplicable flat, bristle-less part on the 'bottom' of the brush is a disaster if you let it get near your lashes, just a giant gloopy mess that will force you to remove everything and start over... whyyyy would they have done this?! It boggles the mind!). Even still, I do often get a little bit of mascara on my lids just above my lashes, but I just wait for it all to dry and then go in with a lightly moistened q-tip to delicately clean along my lash line. This method works just fine for me, and ultimately it is absolutely worth it for this wonderful mascara, but I can definitely imagine that the terrible brush would be a deal breaker for many people.
