Rated 3 out of 5 by from chemical sunscreen I've used the previous City Block for over 20 years. My face never had a sun problem and I didn't put much thought into how it worked. Then it was out of stock. So I thought I would give this one a try. It didn't work the same way. I was out in the sun on a residential road for maybe half an hour. Then I had severe rash, red swollen inflammation, and flaky peeling skin all over my face. And I had small red bumps near my neckline. The itch lasted for days. I don't know whether it was sunburn, allergy to the chemicals, or both. So I tried to understand the ingredients. The previous City Block was a mineral sunscreen. This one is a chemical sunscreen, and it doesn't work for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from my new moisturizing sunblock I was a user of LaRoch Posay SP60 melt-in cream for many years. It was recommended by my dermatologist as a good fit for rosacea. However, the formula has changed has changed. The Clinique SPF 50 Sunscreen face cream is a good alternative. The only negative is that I find I need to add a moisturizer around my eyes- I am using Dramatically Different lotion that I received as a sample- works well. There is a faint sunblock smell that eventually dissipates. It does not give me a headache. This is now my go-to moisturizing sunblock

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sunscreen This is nice and light and goes on smooth which is unusual for a high SPF. It also does not have any scent at all!! However, I do find it gets a bit greasy under my Foundation so I only use it on my face for days I am not putting on Foundation and will be out in the sun all day (otherwise I use the CC Cream which I also highly recommend). But, I apply it to my neck and chest every day. I think it has actually helped to fade my sun spots a bit. I would recommend for anyone with fair skin that wants a higher SPF.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Skinn hives Brought this product because it was recommended. After the first use I got a rash was not sure if it was the sunscreen so I waited and used it again a second time. My whole face is coved in hives and rash. I'm very disappointed because it is said that the product is good for sensitive skin. Not true. Clinique will not accept a refund or return. Now what am I to do with this? Very disappointed. The brand is my go to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective I've been using this sunscreen for 3-4 years now and I'm still a big fan. This sunscreen has some oily feature that also helps moisturizing my skin as the same time. It's sun blocking effect also last on my skin for quite some time (like 4-5 hours). The only thing I don't like about this cream is that it's thick and it takes some time to apply it on the face. Wish it was a little bit thinner. That's it :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best sunscreen ever I got this sunscreen and am really happy with its quality. It is light and not greasy at all. I apply this sunscreen every day and my sensitive skin feels great. Thanks Clinique for this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Make sure you test a small area first! I've been using Clinique products for years. Bought this to use for the sun protection. Applied it 3 days in a row, and the 4thd day woke with small hives. It got worse day 2, 3 and 4 including swelling, blisters, peeling, itchy skin..most horrible experience I've ever had. The product maybe awesome for someone, just not for me. Test a small area on your neck and give it days to react before applying it on your entire face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for sensitive skin I have sensitive skin and react to most sunscreens but this one was great, no itching burning or rash. This was okay under my makeup and only cased a slight amount of piling. It was not greasy and did not interfere with the application of my makeup Overton, nor was there any issues with my Make-up's longevity. Good product
