Great for layering moisture.
I'm someone who likes to try new things and I rarely repurchase the same things twice in a row, this is one of those things that I'm coming back for before mine it even gone. This is a slippery, slightly thick liquid. It's not a lotion in the traditional sense as the name may suggest. It's a "watery essence". Very light, but moisturizing. Excellent for layering, which I love to do. If you have oily skin you may be able to get away with just this. If you have combination or dry skin, this is a great product for your dry areas under another product to boost moisture without adding heaviness.

Wow! The product I didn't realize I needed!
I bought a Moisture Surge multi-pack, and I really just wanted the face and lip cream. I didn't know what a watery lotion was or how to use it. I read up on it and decided to give it a try and I am so happy I did! This product is a game changer for me. I love it. It really does seem to prep my skin to take a serum or moisturizer. It makes my skin feel so hydrated! My only complaint is that the product size is too big to carry on for air travel - a mini version would be so amazing! And to think that I almost just gave this product away without even trying it! I am totally in love!

Really helpful for my super dry skin
I have being used Retino product of Clinique (the purple type) and the side effect of retinol is leaving my skin very dry. All the retinil users have to use HA to provide their skin with moist and water to balance and help retinol to maximise its wonderful effect. I bought this product for that purpose and i extremely happy with how it changes my skin for the better. I wake up with brighter and smooth and stunning complexion every morning. I even do not need my HA serum now because this product comes with HA in the ingredients. All in one. Simple is the best for healthy skin. I chose clinique because all the ingrdients are just skin friendly.

A Perfect Bridge Between Clarifying Lotion and Moisturizer
I used to apply a clarifying lotion then immediately layer with moisturizer and was happy with it. I gave this lotion a try after getting it as a part of a Moisture Surge series set. It feels so hydrating and really conditions my skin before applying a moisturizer. Warming the lotion in my palms and slowly applying and feeling it absorbed into my skin became my new favourite retual; it is worth an extra couple of minutes of self care. There is a very faint hint of peachy scent that I really enjoy (or am I imagining it? But it smells so good!).

Best moisturiser
feel like i've tried every moisturizer out there. i have rosacea, acne and extremely sensitive skin. this is the best i've tried. use it morning and night all over face and neck after cleansing...no breakouts, skin feels smoother, more supple. a little goes a long way. i even put it all around my eyes. extremely gentle yet moisturizing and replenishing. will be ordering more!

My skin will be forever married to Moisture surge lotion
I have dry combination skin, that gets easily dehydrated year round but especially in the winter time when the heater dries out the air, so I went searching for something that could intensely hydrate my skin and keep it hydrated throughout the day without being thick and heavy - I'm SO glad I found Clinique's Moisture Surge lotion!!! I use it after step 2, before my moisturizer, and it does EXACTLY what it promises! instantly hydrates my skin, leaves it feeling suppperrr soft and smooth, and I noticed within just 3 days of using it my skin immediately feels so much healthier! it also helps my moisturizer absorb quicker and better! I was having bad flaking and breakouts due to dryness and my face is quickly on its way to healing up and my skin has become even healthier! I will love this forever!!!

Game changer
Probably one of the best essences I've used so far. Great price point, layers well, unscented (some I've tried from other brands the fragrance is overwhelming and irritating), adds a bunch of moisture. I prefer applying skincare on damp skin and this is a great way get skin damp and add some beneficial ingredients. All my serums and moisturizers sit well on top and there's no pilling. I use this am/pm with directly onto palms and pat onto my face and it lasts me about 5 months. Very happy with it and will definitely be repurchasing!

Very Soothing!
I wan't sure how I was going to fit this lotion into my skin care routine. It is thicker than a toner but thinner than a serum. I have dry & very sensitive skin so I try tho keep my skin care products to a minimum. I wash my face and then use this before my moisturiser. I use it toner & serum in one (even though it isn't marketed as such). It is very soothing & hydrating! I will use this as my only moisturiser during the summer months. I hope that this never gets discontinued.
