Makes my skin dull and dry
Please bring back the old formula. Very disappointed with Clinique for changing this product. I've been using this product for a few years now and had really liked it. It works well for my dry skin in the winter.The new formula is so bad, it makes my skin dull and dry.

Didn't work for me
This product leaves a greasy feeling after used, I tried putting on a little bit as I thought I'm putting on too much but the feel is the same which I really hate. And I have a breakout on my face. It's great for people with super dry skin or when going out in winter. The would prefer the other moisture surge than this one.

Not Moisturizing
I am very unhappy with this product. It is advertised for very dry skin which I have but even combined with the hydrating concentrate and the hydrating face mask my skin is dry and tight soon after applying. I am so disappointed because I was hoping Clinique would be the answer to my dry skin problem.

Not an Improvement on the Original Formula
I so wanted to leave a good review. However, this product is not an improvement on the original. I was a loyal Moisture Surge Intense user for many years. This will sound ridiculous to some, but the original formula changed my life. As a teen/young adult with highly sensitive, dry combination skin, I walked around with blotchy, sore skin for many years until I found the original formula. I was able to apply it in the morning and under or without makeup, my skin would say hydrated all day, without a residue. It was perfect. This, however, is not. Unfortunately, Clinique decided to "improve" upon the original formula, and they missed the mark. This product does not keep my skin hydrated and leaves a chalky residue on my skin. The consistency of the product itself has changed and it is a thicker, whiter substance. I urge Clinique to bring back the original formula as a legacy product. People will buy it. Increase the price. Just bring it back. For those of you that this new formula works for, you are the lucky few. If reading these reviews amounts to anything, it is a hoard of former-clinique users.

I'm not sure why this stuff doesn't have higher reviews. I find it works just as well as the regular 100h moisture surge, and is quite similar overall, just a bit more moisturizing/heavy (in a good way). It works well to help combat the effects of dry winter air. I'd recommend :)

New formula is nowhere near as good as it used to be
The old moisture surge intense was the best moisturizer and the only one I used. It would hydrate for hours. The new formula does not even come close in fact my skin feels dry after applying it. Very disappointed.

Terrible new formula
I thought I was going crazy but other's have also noticed a decline in quality for this cream. It used to be hydrating and it didn't leave my face feeling greasy. My sensitive skin used to tolerate Clinique's products but my face became irritated, especially around my eyes and my I still get flaky patches, which didn't happen with the older formula. I've since switched to La Roche Posay to help rebuild my skin barrier.

it's a good dewy moisturizer
some people are complaining about the cream feeling sticky and this is true for me too but it doesn't bother me as my skin feels moist and hydrated with it on. only 4 stars. my favourite 5-star moisturizer was discontinued years ago, moisture in control, and i've been forever longing for that recipe.

Miss the Original Moisture Surge Intense
The original was the only product that helped my dry flaky skin. I guess technically this works, but it's so greasy and sits on my face- plus I have to use so much. I have stopped using it, I came to see if the old version was available. I am so disappointed

Old Moisture Surge Intense is much better
I wish they still had the original formula of the Moisture Surge Intense. This cream gel product is not nearly as hydrating as the previous intense version. My skin feel tight. Also, it does not absorb well. My face is not absorbing the cream at all.

Amazing moisturizer
I honestly love this moisturizer! I think many of the negative reviewers have purchased this product by accident, because it is similar to the lighter 72H moisturizer (which still exists!). However, this product is much thicker with a true "lipid" feeling to it, which is perfect for my combination-oily breakout-prone skin, I feel very refreshed and moisturized afterward. It takes a while, and I mean a long while, for it to absorb into your skin, so if you don't have a spare 60 minutes, it's best used as a nighttime moisturizer. Regardless, it is a great moisturizer.

This Is. A Must!
I initially ended up with this product due to an error when I placed an order. Initially I was not sure that I liked this product, so I ordered the original Moisture Surge. I continued to utilize this product in the meantime, and soon discovered what an incredible hydration it is. It is smooth, creamy, and leaves my skin so soft! It is excellent in the evening after cleansing, and to start the day after cleansing. This is a must have!

Changed my skin

Love at first application!
My favourite ever moisturiser is Resilience Multi-Effect Moisturizer Tri-Peptide Face and Neck Creme SPF 15 by Estée Lauder. But, since I tried this one I'm in love with it too. The same effect for less money! Love it so much!

Great moisturizer
Love this moisturizer! It keeps my skin feeling soft, and doesn't leave it feeling overly greasy after use. I only use at night, not as a daytime moisturizer as it does have some greasy feel to it. I will continue to use this product.

A super rich cream perfect for night!
I love Moisture Surge anything. It really is the best line of all Clinique's products. I am impressed with the Moisture Surge Intense. It's a really lovely product that is rich and creamy, and goes on like a dream. However, it's more of a cream than a gel. I love the Moisture Surge gel creams, and if you are expecting a gel cream with the Intense product, you will be disappointed. But, try it! I use it at night in the winter and use the Moisture Surge gel cream during the day. I also use the Intense on my knees and elbows. I only bought the 30ml version to try it but will definitely buy a larger size soon. This product has all the benefits of the Moisture Surge line, just in a cream form.

Rich and moisturizing
I don't like most of the moisture surge products because I don't find them that moisturizing due to the light gel texture. However, the intense version is thicker but not overly thick and felt moisturizing enough for my dry skin. The only thing is it's more expensive than dramatically different cream and I don't think the moisturizing effect differs too much between the two.

Not as expected
After applying this and after a few minutes I started to react; eyes irritated. This is slightly scented, not unscented as stated. Also I found it sticky so I had to wash it off. I will stick with the pink moisture surge.

Moisturizing
I had ben using the Moisture Surge 72 hour auto replenishing hydrator religiously for a year, but once winter started it was no hydrating my skin. I find the cream formula of the 72H Lipid-replenishing hydrator favourable for my skin in winter. I keep my skin hydrated and also does not jus dissappear from my skin as soon as I step outside like the gel formula of the other hydrator which I feel is better suited for me in warmer weather. I can be greasy feeling, but I do not mind that texture.

Perfect Winter Moisturizer
The Moisture Surge Intense cream is my go to for winter skincare. I live in a dry climate and my combination skin gets patchy in the winter, but since I began using the "intense" I have had no patchy skin and reduced skin irritation.

Love it!
I was concerned about the change to the previous formula of Moisture Surge Intense, so I purchased the new formula before I finished my jar of the old one so I could compare them side by side. After several weeks of alternate use, I find I prefer the new formula. This is a relief! For me, the new formula provides longer lasting moisture and more "glow". Thank you Clinique!
