Smells Like Jiffy Marker!!
I received this as a 15 ml jar sample and it was heavy and sticky, then I noticed it had a strong smell. At first I thought paint or paint thinner, then it reminded me of Black Jiffy Marker. I threw it away thinking it was old. As it was a sample I didn't respond to Clinique about a refund. However seeing other reviews it seems maybe it's supposed to smell like this? Or a few of us got a bad batch? Either way I will never take a chance buying the full size. I think Clinique needs to evaluate the shell of this cream. The Original Moisture Surge is excellent and has zero smell and hydrates perfectly without feeling slimy or heavy on the skin like this one.

Game Changing Cream
My skin is combination oily with monthly breakouts, but in the drier winter months it goes to combination dry. I use a variety of Clinique moisturizers all year round, but find that whenever I've been a bit too aggressive with treating my skin (aka over drying with serums/treatments), or when the climate I live in is super dry, I need to use this product. It instantly plumps and soothes my dry skin, and I don't have to worry about it causing another breakout.

Good bye dry skin!
I have been using Clinique Make-up and Skin Products since I was 15 years old, as recommended by a Dermatologist. I started just using the make-up and when I was around 18 I started using the skin products. Well over thirty years later, I am STILL using all Clinique products. I live in a very dry climate and my skin was a mess - until I was introduced to Moisture Surge. It saved my skin! I LOVE it! I have tried other products, only to find they caused me problems (eczema in my eye area). I always come back to Clinique. I love all of Clinique's products. My 2 sisters and niece all use Clinique products on my recommendation. I get compliments on my skin all the time, and when asked my age, people can't believe I'm as old as I am. Thank You Clinique!

Bring it back! No Replacement for the Original
I faithfully used this product for many years. The new "improved" formula is not an improvement at all. This original formula was THE best product! It changed my life as a teen/young adult - helped me feel comfortable in my skin! I urge Clinique to bring this original formula back as a legacy product - people love it, people will buy it, bring it back! Sometimes things are perfect the way they are...

I received this product as a part of a set. I had used the Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto Replenishing Hydrator so deduced that this product would be similar. While it is similar,it has a different consistency. I find it very rich, and a person needs very little to go a long way. It smooths onto skin easily, and hydrates beautifully.

This is the first clinique product i ever bought and definitely the most expensive product. However, i have sensitive skin and even an aveeno hypo allergenic face lotion made me rash out. This product is awesome! It doesn't bother my skin, its light and sinks into my skin so fast! Definitely not oily at all! I use it after a bit of sun burn as well and it helps make the skin heal faster.

The best Moisturizer ever!!!
I absolutely love this moisturizer. Very light weight, yet very effective. For the best results - apply it within 2 minutes of washing your face to lock in the moisture. My skin says "thank you"!

If there were a different scent, it would be a 5!
I really love what this does for my skin, how it looks and feels. HOWEVER, the smell is really a downside. My husband dislikes kissing me if I have it on it bugs him so much. It smells kinda like gasoline I would say would be the closest comparison. It has a powerful little moisturizing punch, if it smelled better it would be a 5 star product!
