the only product that actually controls my oil!
so I have been using so many products to help with my oily skin, & this product has been the only one so far to actually mattify my skin and control and absorb my oil and shine. I love it! it is quite pricey and the bottle is on the smaller end. also at times, it could leave a little white residue on your face.

Controls excess oil and shine all day
I have very oily skin and large pores. I been using the whole range of Clinique pore refining solutions. I use Clinique 1-2-3 system every morning then I apply 'pore refining solutions Stay-matte hydrator' I normally put very little make up on top. The hydrator acts perfectly and my make up never get spoiled and my skin looks silky. Bye bye excess oil and pores...

No More Shine
My forehead gets shiny halfway through the day but I'm terrible at remembering to bring powder to work with me. I started using this hydrator on my worst spots and suddenly shine isn't an issue. Worth every penny for one less thing to worry about!

Still shiny
I have combination skin (normal except oily in T zone) and really wished this would work. Alas, it does not. After 2 hours, it's the same shine as before. I'm going back to Dramatically Different Gel Moisturizer which is better bang for the buck.

I miss the old step 3!
This is just ok. It does stay matte but I feel it isn't hydrating enough and leaves your face feeling dry. I expected more for the price! I have oily and sensitive skin so my options are limited. I miss the old step 3 of the acne solutions!!

Actually Amazing!
I started using this two weeks ago. I apply in the morning and my face still looks matte by the evening. Before, my skin would be shiny about 2 hours after putting on makeup. I can't get over how great it works!

I’m very disappointed that this product is being discontinued! I love it and have used it for years. Also use the serum of the same product line and it’s also being discontinued! Why?
