How to Use:

I like... however
I really like this stuff as a morning serum in my skincare routine, albeit I was skeptical and hesitant to use a retinol/retinal product in the morning. It's very soft and smooth, and works well under make-up. I haven't had any issues with fine lines, especially with foundation sinking into them after application, and it may just be because of this little jar of greatness. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to address any issues of this nature, it's worth a try. Although I really like this serum, I'll be switching back to the Even Better Dark Spot Corrector and Interrupter after I'm finished this bottle, as I think it might be better suited to my skin-type at this age. However, I have no regrets over this purchase, and will definitely purchase again.

Absolutely Amazing!!
I received a free sample in the mail and was blown away but the results!!! I am not a Clinique user. I have deep creases in my cheeks from too much sun when I was a teenager. I COUID NOT believe what I was seeing. My skin after only 1 application was less creased. I have been using the product for over a week now (had to buy it!!!) and know that I will use this product fir the rest of my days unless they gone up with something even better. Do yourself a favor and buy this product. I LOVE IT! Thank you Clinique

Made my skin peel & look sunburned
I can't even give this product 1 star. I was told Clinique smart custom repair serum which I have used when it 1st came out was discontinued but the smart clinical repair wrinkle correcting serum was amazing & you won't believe the difference. The 1st day I put it on in the morning & in the afternoon I was washing my hands, looked in the mirror & wondered what was on my face & realized it was skin peeling. Second morning I used it again & in the afternoon noticed the other side of my face was peeling, looked up the product & saw others experiencing the same. Next morning my face looked badly sunburned & stopped using. I have been using Clinique for over 40 years & would like to know if Clinique is going to bring back the custom repair serum asap? I guess I will have to start researching a new skincare company

Meh... Save your money
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The product definately provided moisture and was non sticky or greasy. It worked great under makeup and was easy to layer with multiple other moisturisers. Including cream and oils. However I wasn't wowed. I didn't notice a huge difference in skin appearance or texture. My go to is Nivea in the blue tub at night and with sunscreen during the day and I usually swap out other drug store brands to try periodically. I was excited to try a luxury brand, I just wasn't impressed. I would not spend my money on this. The scent was nice. Not too sweet or medicinal and didn't linger once absorbed.

Skin reacted badly
This is the second product from Clinique I have felt let down by. I was lucky enough to receive a refund for previous product due to being sold a bad batch therefore wanted to try another product from them. I chose this one and after using it once, my skin was red, inflamed and I broke out. Sometimes this is normal when using a retinol product (would have been nice if the percentage was disclosed so I knew the potency before purchasing...the highest I have gone so far is 0.25% therefore if it is closer to 1% people should know before taking the risk of a reaction) I started by using it once a week and every time after the reaction would get worse. I had full body hives and needed to take allergy medicine for it to go away. Now I don't know what to do with it but I certainly cannot use it anymore.

No real results from this serum
Sadly this is the first time a Clinique product has completely disappointed me. I have been using the product for a month and have seen no results so far. I don't expect plastic surgery in a jar either but I haven't even noticed subtle improvements. At the very least I thought it would perhaps even soften the skin and I can't say that was effective either. Would not recommend this product and for its price point it's discouraging

Harsh and sticky
Bring back Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Serum! Way better than this serum. This one is harsh and has a weird texture. Irritates my skin. The Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Serum was so gentle and light, and really improved skin texture and reduced lines...and you could use it around your eyes (and I have very, very sensite skin and eyes). This one is a clunker.

I have used the original serum and I was happy about it. I bought this one because the old version was discontinued. This product makes my skin very itchy. I've been using Clinique products for many years and I haven't have any issue with any of them except this one. I'd suggest to improve the formulation.
