Rated 1 out of 5 by from Massive Lip Reaction - Required Medical Attention Ok...seriously. I am a lip product phene. I was so in love with the lip oils, that I bought 4. Using them daily caused the most awful reaction on the border of my upper and lower lip line. It burns and causes massive lip dryness and discomfort. After undergoing two months of medical treatment, I am slowly healing. Please beware. I have never had a lip reaction. 😭

I purchased the Rose, and the Pink quartz (the lightest shade) It doesn't give a opaque coverage, just a sheer swipe with a hint of color. There is a slight scent, maybe peppermint? I can't really place it it is so light. It is very slightly tacky but not sticky. I can't stand sticky glosses. I would def. Buy this again

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good lip oil I like this lip oil but i really miss the original elf lip oil. ELF BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL LIP OIL PLEASE!! My fav color of the original lip oil was berry kiss and i still have one tube. This one is good but its more sticky than the original one elf had. Also the original one was more pigmented and more oily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful smell I'm really disappointed in elf's current trend of adding menthol to all their products... it is so irritating for my skin and smells awful. I wanted to love this lip oil but it just smells overwhelmingly like vaporub.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Daily Staple My friend gifted me two of these, and I'm literally ordering the other shades immediately. I've been trying to find a lip oil that fits my budget but doesn't make me feel like I'm sacrificing the quality for the price, and this does exactly that. It lasts so long before I have to reapply, it's not so sticky that my lips feel tacky, but still very moisturizing. Everytime e.l.f. comes out with a new product I think it's my favorite, and then they come out with something else that replaces it. This is my current fav and I can't wait to see what they release next!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don't get the hype I don't understand why this has gone viral. Yes, this is moisturizing...but so is a lip balm or petroleum jelly or even a lip gloss. It's not pigmented. I tried the deepest shade (Jam Session) and, even with building up, it's very sheer to the point of nonexistent in color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this more I was gifted four of these in the colors Crystal Clear, Honey Talks, Rose Quartz, and Rose Envy and I feel like they all looked the same on my lips regardless of the shade. I do really like how it looks and it looks really nice on top of other lipsticks, but the longevity is terrible. I think because it's a lip oil and not a gloss, it was never going to be long-wearing, so maybe I'm being too harsh. I use it more before bed to keep my lips hydrated than for going out. I am really happy this product is made Fair Trade Certified factories, though.
