Handy spf cream

I had never used an elf branded product before so wasn’t aware they were “clean and kind” as the box said. This cream is so many things - has 30 spf which is great, but also niacinimide and other ingredients. It is properly called a cream as the consistency is thicker but it rubs in within seconds. I find there is a very very faint scent, pretty much unscented. What little scent there is, it’s nice. Used this in the AM and felt good about the sun protection. Didn’t give me any breakouts either. When I opened it I saw a color product, color is Lightweight, Gel-Based Sunscreen, doubles as a makeup primer, vegan & cruelty-free. When I used the skin looked whiter and shinier than it actually was. I liked e.l.f. Skin Suntouchable! Whoa Glow, SPF 30 product. I used product morning under the makeup and when I removed makeup my skin was not dry. I have dry skin, after this product my skin improved. It is definitely a cream, NOT a gel, but it’s almost like it has the properties of gel creams, if that makes sense. It feels really nice going on and keeps my face feeling fresh and dewy throughout the day. Added plus is the SPF, certainly doesn’t seem like a sunscreen (they are usually so sticky!) so that’s awesome.

Great Value Moisturizer
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a good face moisturizer for a great price. This is thicker than a typical moisturizer but absorbs fairly quick. It is scented but it's mild, I think the whole hydration line has the same scent (I use the cleansing balm as well and it smells the same). I don't know how to describe the scent but this cream also has a hint of the usual sunscreen smell. My skin feels a little tacky after application and leaves it dewy. I have oily skin so by the end of the day my t zone is shiny. Overall a good moisturizer, my skin feels hydrated, maybe better for dry skin.

My past experience with similar products often left me greasy. To my surprise, this one is sheer, weightless, and invisible—it melts right into the skin without leaving a trace. I use it during the day, and it gives me a nice boost of hydration with a smooth finish that works perfectly for summer on my oily-combo skin. If you have normal or dry skin, it might not be enough on its own and you may need to layer it with a serum, but for me it is a great daily option.

This is such a great moisturizer!
