Gaviscon Extra Strength Chewable Foamtabs begins working immediately. Provides day & night-time relief of heartburn, acid reflux and GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease) symptoms. Forms a protective foam barrier that blocks acid reflux for hours.

Directions:

• Adults and adolescents ages 12 and older: chew 2-4 tablets up to 12 tablets daily.
• Children ages 6-11: chew 1-2 tablets up to 6 tablets daily.

Doses should be separated by at least 2 hours. Take after meals and/or at bedtime, when symptoms occur or as directed by a doctor. Do not swallow whole.

Medicinal Ingredients: 313mg Alginic Acid (Derived from Brown Seaweed), 63mg Magnesium Carbonate/Tablet.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Calcium Stearate, Peppermint Flavour, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sugar.

Relief of heartburn and acid reflux symptoms should occur within 5-10 minutes of taking the product. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks, recur, worsen or if heartburn symptoms occur more than once per week in a child, or if heartburn/acid reflux is accompanied by painful swallowing, weight loss, vomiting of blood or recurrent vomiting. Except under your doctor's advice, if pregnant or on a low salt diet do not exceed 3 tablets per day, do not take if you suffer from kidney disease or within 2 hours of another medicine because effectiveness may be altered.
