I have heard about how beneficial aloe vera is when it comes to hair, and that is the reason I decided to try it. This shampoo also Moisturizes without stripping color in dyed hair. I have fine hair and lots of it, and find that this shampoo helps me feel great about my hair by taming it with moisture. Got to love the smell of it, too. I often use the conditioner that comes from my hair dye box and this smells the same. My hair feels much healthier, and not so dry, and it also feels light and clean.
This is my all time favorite shampoo. I have fine but very thick wavy hair. It is the only shampoo that controls my fly aways and leaves it very smooth. I've tried other shampoos but almost always end up back with this one because nothing else compares to how soft it makes my hair.
I have been on a quest to be as chemical free as possible. Shampoo has been the hardest product to go "natural" with, I have tried everything from no poo, making my own, and about 10 different brands of organic. While this shampoo is not totally natural or chemical free, it is the one I have had the best experience with. I have fine hair, but lots of it, I also have a very oily scalp. I used this shampoo & conditioner for about a week before I began to appreciate it. At first it made my hair feel weighted down, after a week my head adjusted and my hair became incredibly soft and healthy. I no longer need to use leave in conditioner to control the static (there is none and I blow dry daily) and my flyaways are a thing of the past. This might just be my over enthusiastic imagination but I am fairly certain my hair actually seems thicker, with a lot less shedding.
This is perhaps one of the worst shampoos I have ever used in my life. I have kinky curly hair, and it made hy curls even tighter and matted my hair. I tried it twice just to make sure it was not me, or the combination of other products. What an awful experience.
I am a first time user of this product. Even though it is difficult to lather up, it does leave the hair squeaky clean. The best feature is that it does not dry the scalp/hair. I just wish the price of the product was more affordable.
This is the best natural shampoo I've used, it has a nice, clean, fresh scent. I do find I use a fair bit just to get enough lather in my shoulder length hair.
Leaves hair feeling clean, smells great, and is guilt-free because it is safe for the environment!
I love how Jason's Naturals products always have a great price along with the amount of product that they give you. The bottle will last me awhile, even with daily use.
I have fine, long hair that goes up to my waist, but with only a palm-sized amount it gets the job done. There is not much lather to this product, but I don't mind it at all, as I like gel-like textures in general (maybe it is just me).
There is a star deducted because I find it is quite easy to "over-squeeze" the amount of product out since it is less viscous. I also find the cap on the top hard to open at times. However, overall it is a great product.
I have been using this product for over a year now and I love it. It has a wonderful fragrance, not to strong or perfumey, but not too aloevera-y either. It's easy to rinse out, it's nice and gentle, and I use it every day with the Jason Aloe Vera conditioner.
This shampoo isn't as luxurious as you may be used to; it doesn't lather up and make tons of bubbles. However it is simple, has very little odour and gets the job done.
I love this shampoo, but I also find it a bit hard to lather up. I really like the smell and how it's not perfumy and I feel good using it. I bought it because my hair is thinning and I red that aloe vera is supposed to be good for hair growth...we'll see what happens!
This shampoo is great. Though, for me it takes a while to lather up probably because of my hair texture and product build up. But all in all, I recommend it if you are looking for a sulfate free shampoo.
Love it! No harsh detergents and leaves my hair soft! Lathers up well without all the chemicals.
I have very oily scalp and my hair is very fine but I have a lot of it. My main problem with natural shampoos is that they don't lather and clean well, and my hair would look greasy and very limp. With many shampoos (natural or not), my other problem is slight odour from the oiliness if I don't shampoo every day. I find that rosemary can eliminate most of the odour.
The scent of this shampoo is grassy and fresh, but not sweet or girly at all. I like it but don't love it.
It's not runny, and lathers and cleans MUCH better than Kiss My Face Mistreated Shampoo which I used to buy. My hair is not limp! But this shampoo doesn't help with the odour. My solution is to first clean my hair with this shampoo and then use a bit of something that contains rosemary (like Kiss My Face shampoos).
Bottom line: This shampoo is perfect if you are looking for an affordable natural shampoo that cleans well and if you are not fussy about girly scents.
