Directions: After shampooing, generously apply the Purple Toning Masque evenly through wet hair and comb through. Leave on 1-3 minutes, rinse well. Wash hands immediately. Use weekly or as needed until desired toning results are achieved.

Must have for Blondes

I absolutely love this hair mask, I've had highlights in my hair since I can remember. I'm 41, dry aging hair so I do everything I can to protect my hair and its color. I've been using this mask weekly, applying it to damp hair combing it through with a wide toothed comb and leaving it on 5 minutes ( I worked my way up to that time, I started with 3 minutes) rinse my hair on cool to Luke warm water. What a dream! Keeps my hair brass free and cools my blonde. No drying out, no damage. Hair is soft and manageable. Recommend. Must have

I was very excited to get this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox in exchange for a honest review.
John Frieda has always been a great brand so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. My blond highlights tend to go brassy often. This mask smelled amazing from the tome I opened the tub. I loved the smell. I put it in my hair after using the shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda. I left it in for about 5 mins and rinsed it out. It made me hair amazingly soft and smooth. The effect lasted for about a week and I plan on using it again tonight. I will be purchasing it for sure when I run out. It’s highly recommended. Thank you to JF for making this product

Not very purple..
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this complimentary to test out from Topbox. I was pretty disappointed to be honest. It claims to be toning but it is barely purple and there is no chance this will make any effect on blonde hair (I have been an avid purple shampoo user for years, and have bleach blonde hair..) there just isn’t enough pigment. It did leave my hair soft and easy to brush but if you look at the ingredients the first three are water, alcohol and dimethicone.. so not the best for hair health (very drying) but I will continue to use just because of the ease to brush my tangly hair. #freeproduct

Great Anti Brass Mask!

I loved this hair mask! My household water supply comes from a well which tends to have a lot of mineral build up and can cause my blonde hair to turn brassy/orange if I don't take care of it properly. This mask is EXTREMELY violet in color, lots of pigment. So much so that I would suggest using gloves when applying as it turned my hands purple. I left it on my hair for approx 15 mins and rinsed out - it did leave a purple "tone" to my hair immediately after using however after a day or two it fades revealing a nice silvery/blonde tone.

I regularly have a full head nightlight and with being naturally dark my hair can sometimes look brassy. I have just taken a trip to a beachy place and my highlights had gone slightly yellow. These products have toned my hair down perfectly without being too strong and leaving streaks of blue. My streaks look ashy blonde again and in perfect condition!

Silky Gorgeous Blonde Hair!

After my regular shampoo routine, I leave on the mask for a few minutes and then I rinse it off with luke warm water. My hair looks a lot more renewed, as I have seen my hair experience salon quality results. Overall, my colour treated blonde strands look amazingly silky, soft and neutralized from brassy undertones. My new go-to! It works like magic!

After using the masque for the recommended time, I washed and dried my hair as normal, and noticed the results right away. My blonde hair started to glow and shine like it once did. Good Bye brassy blonde

You can really notice a difference in her blonde, it made it brighter and left her hair shiny and not feel dry after use.
